At some point he had something about him and could have gone on to become a good premier league player but like many before him he prioritised his social life over reaching his potential.

Hes been going through the motions here for years, maybe a move will be good for him.

Bit if a weird deal, they can’t of both been offering one year deals?

Maybe Untied gave him a increase on what Derby were offering.

Normally as players get older they look for longer contracts in case of injuries etc and as their ability also tails off.

From a personal perspective, good riddance.

From a squad perspective, he was never going to be suited to Russell’s style, good riddance.

Seen they’ve taken up his contract essentially, would imagine it’s next to nothing fee wise, hopefully enough to pay for O’Hora with enough wages for a loan or two as well

King power aren't going to reveal how much .... as they don't want to spend any of it

Mutual termination i think, on a high wage and Sheff Utd prepared pay the wages, in return of no transfer fee. Derby were prepared to make some sort of offer but wouldnt meet the wage demands. I think Hamza favoured the return to Sheffield United anyway.

Says undisclosed on the Sheff Utd website.

Based on that alone .... he will have gone for free ... but a large wage off the books  .... Faes and Mavadidi will go the same way ... Wrexham have signed a centre half from Burnley... so have they lost interest in Soutter ??

Very very glad to see the back of him. I was appalled when he was give the armband and it summed up the lack of true leadership, professional pride and accountability within the club.

Originally had the potential to have been a very good player, as there was raw talent there, but his attitude and behaviour off the field was very much in tune with the lack of professionalism within the club over the last few years. Another bad apple on a wage way above his contribution that we now finally have rid of.

The only thing that bothers me is how much did we have to bung Sheff Utd to take him 👋

We’ve not bunged them any but I bet we’ve had to pay him a lump sum.
