It was O'Hara today but all the CBs we've played this season, Goalkeepers and even Lundstram today have made similar passes this season.

A few Balls played over the top today would have turned them facing their own goal, Yet we never done it once. Why ? becaue they are tring to play Martins passing game.

That mistake doesn’t happen for Hibs, it’s corner flag or row z. As Couughie used to say, you’re a centre half son your job is to head it and kick it, anything else is a bonus.

But we did actually play a few balls long and created chances from it. The Thomas one that he blundered being a key example

Its not just this season, its every game, every player. We have been very lucky again to not get smashed by the constant mistakes happening because we cant handle the press, and still for 90 minutes try to play from the back.

We played quite a lot of balls in behind them. I’m all for criticism but let’s be accurate with it.

To be honest I think both Faes and Braybrooke stitched him up on the goal today.

 

Faes for the pea roller of a pass to put him under pressure, and Braybrooke for showing for the ball and then inexplicably moving behind his marker as the ball was played.

He'd been looking casual and unbothered a few times before that, so I was literally in the process of complaining about his application (compared to that of some of our younger players) when he gifted them a goal.

 

Some of that is on Martin for his style of play - in that you'll concede even against the worst opposition, by some distance, that I've ever seen - but a lot of it is a poor reflection on O'Hora's personal standards. Weirdly, when we've had five goals and a hat trick, that's one of my biggest takeaways.

 

And to think I complain about others being negative...

When i said to people on here how bad O'Hora before we signed him and was linked to him, there was a lot of people didn't believe me and gave me pelters.

 

Get him in the bin and tear uo his contract he is worthless
