Our Social Media department are still an absolute shambles. Do they not proof read anything that they put on the website? The wrong nationality?! 😂 Screenshot_20260903-1819042.thumb.jpg.b270a99a8d70f0cabc8211a08f8dbf57.jpg

It's like us signing an Argentinian and the article stating "The Englishman" 😂.

I think it's because most are fixated with how poor Soutter & Thomas are.

But it's also because we conceded 3, had 2 more ruled out and other sitters they missed. Not saying he was at fault, but would be a bit weird if people were saying how great he was/what a difference he made given how we defended.

Similar to Faes’ debut.

We weren’t as toxic as a fanbase but remember him getting a bit OTT praise for his debut when Spurs smashed us didn’t they?

How did he actually do Saturday? Was just relying on here for updates on the game

Not particularly well if we're being honest.

Certiainly no better than Thomas has been at CB anyway. We conceded 3 goals but it could easily have been 6!

But, it’s also probably fair to say if we were to drop Soutter & Thomas (which we should), we wouldn’t be so bloody bad at the back, who knows.

l’m not suggesting O’Hora is our saviour, it’s too soon, but having 2 bombscares alongside anyone isn’t helping.

To be fair, from the Forest game onwards up to the World Cup break Faes was excellent for us. His best period by a mile and was MOTM a few times.

Not disputing that but the hype that he also got when Spurs put 6 by us was quite funny too.

Worth noting, that time period that you mentioned, Danny Ward oddly resembled a professional goalkeeper rather than the competition winner that he usually played like.

Ability wise Faes is probably the best CB we have had in the last 3 years, problem has always been his brain farts.

I'd love to seen him alongside a Jonny Evans type for an extended time.

Soyuncu a very similar player to Faes looked great along Evans.

Mixed bag, he had a very good first half which is why people aren’t jumping in on him instantly. The second half everyone looked on the ropes

Nobody wants to admit it but faes is genuinely too good for league 1. He’s also the best suited to Martin’s system.  If he’s stuck here, and wants to play, Martin would be insane not to use him.

He wins balls he shouldn’t but then loses balls he shouldn’t. But at this level (and everyone we have on the books) everyone loses balls they shouldn’t
