For me, I'd bring Riis straight in as we need a striker who knows where the goal is. I would also bring Lundstram straight in at CDM. Have Page & Braybrooke ahead of him for their creativity. But its a very physical league, and i think Lundstram will bring that that physicality to an otherwise fairly weak midfield, and also bring the experience. So yeah, Riis & Lundstram would be my only two changes. I would keep Thomas in, despite us now having two alternatives. Like it or not, Thomas has been fantastic at CB. 8

I imagine we'll quite heavily rotate during weeks where we have multiple games.

Has he even had any pre-season? Doubt that any of the deadline day signings will start although I agree about Riis.

For this weekend, and with Chaplin seemingly out, I’d go with… McCarthy Joseph - Souttar - Thomas - McFarlane Page Braybrooke - Doyle Burns - Riis - Alves Subs - Ravizzoli, Aluko, O’Hora, BDCR, Watson, Howell, Bristric I’d keep the defence as it is for this game, then maybe introduce O’Hora for the Stockport game. Hope Russell’s brave and goes for a Page, Braybrooke, Doyle trio, but we’ll probably see BDCR or Cullen in there. Might see rotation on the wings again, but Alves has done enough to keep his place. Riis needs to be chucked in straight away. Not sure Lundstram will be fit enough to be included. Cullen is the guy to miss out in my squad, but it could be a toss up between about five players imo.

Thomas included. RM seems to wait a while before starting newbies, so I’d imagine Bristric starts and Riis on for final 20-30. Hopefully RM stops McCarthy dicking around with his feet. I can't say I won't boo McCarthy passing to Thomas in the 6 yard box when he's surrounded by players, but other than that there's not a reason to boo individuals or get on backs like before. 2

For the first time in ages there’s a tiny bit of positivity about the club; the transfer window, win on Tuesday, the academy players doing well. Another win and that momentum and confidence can set us up well, draw or lose and we’re back to square one. Over to you Russ! 1

My fear is that he will replace McPharlane, which IMO would be a backward step. 2

All it has taken for some positivity from the fans is a 2-0 win at home to Plymouth and a few fresh faces in while those that have contributed to our downfall have left. Look through this thread and you can see that people are genuinely excited to watch us play Oxford in a League 1 game. The club have gaslit fans for years into thinking our negativity has been the issue and it's simply not the case. Leicester fans just want, need and deserve to have a team worth supporting and I think we've finally got it. 9 1
