LCFC KP Propaganda TV

it is starting to drive me crazy the absolute drivel coming out of the commentator and Matt Elliott's mouth during commentary and then having to endure 'robot man Bates' interview of Brussell in a way that even Putin would have a rye smile with.

 

It's like there's some KP henchmen with AK47s to the side of them at all times with fingers on triggers. 

 

I make a conscious effort to listen to the opposition commentary as a lot of them use their local BBC radio feed, which obviously being a little more biased for the opposition, is certainly more accurate and will at least address the fundamental issues in our club.

 

Trouble is the state of the streams are diabolical at times with the Oxford one about 15 secs behind with the audio so sometimes I'm forced to watch our one. 

 

Elliott should be ashamed of himself - a supposed legend of the club that is still jovial at 4-0 down against Oxford squeezing positives still out of stuff when there isn't any.  He should be calling it out for what it is and taking his P45 with pride. 

 

I hope when KP finally go the TV station goes with it with everyone connected to it.

I’m not sure what you expect/expected. It’s literally run by the club’s PR team. It’s their job.

 

I’ve barely ever watched the pre/post shows and if I have I’ve not taken it seriously for that reason.

Gotta say the interviews after the game when we lose are particularly frustrating. I remember when we got pumped at home by Brentford and were 3 or 4  down at half time and the guy asked hermansen, is there some positives that it wasn’t worse in the second half?

Was there a Sky+ stream yesterday with neutral commentary? If so I couldn't find it but will need to have a better look next time.

Probably not. I should have clarified when I said ‘I have barely watched’ I meant the pre and post game ‘analysis’.

 

I’ve watched the commentary numerous times but even then always take what’s said with a pinch of salt because it is just the club’s PR team.

On a side note you'd think anyone in the audio visual world's priority would be syncing the picture to the sound. So many channels now out of sync, and it's not just individual setups as I hear complaints from many.

Yep. Already been keeping a record of it with a mate. Highlights so far include telling Bade Aluko that it should "give them confidence" after losing to Burton, telling Burns that there were "many positives to take" from losing to Ipswich, and telling Luke Thomas to "look how good we were" after drawing against MK Dons.

Yesterday Ian Marshall was in Benidorm on a birthday bash, Steve Walsh was with him. I think Marshall has very limited contract agreements now.

I got to the last round of interviews for a comms officer job at the club back when I was a newspaper journalist.

 

The final task was writing a match report within 30 mins of agame finishing that evening. The game was Portsmouth 6-1 Leicester.

 

They wouldn't have known when setting the task but it put a tricky spin on the exercise. While I aimed for something professional I didn't whitewash my report, and didn't get the job...!
