Best all time team of free transfers

[enmac]

I can think of a few great individuals we've  signed over the years. But what would make the best team?

Cambiaso

Christian Fuchs

Wasilowski

Kevin Phillips

Les Ferdinand. A must

Just realised that we got Stan Collymore on a free. We'd have some forward line!

Used to love Bruno.  Knew how to stop a counter without getting booked that often

We'd also have a certified maniac on staff.

Absolutely wonderful player, but I've got a nagging recollection that we paid a nominal fee for him. I could be wrong - it's yonks ago

Knowledge of fire extinguishers in today's Health & Safety-driven world is under-rated

If you want to bolster that forward line some more with a couple of Scots, chuck David Speedie and Paul Dickov in there.

AI says "you are losing your marbles, Lloyd was free transfer from MK Dons". What an epic signing

I’d do anything to have a peak Lloyd Dyer play for us now.

Everyone and their dog knew what he was going to do yet he made it work so many times.

Wonder what it’d look like if you put them up against the best XI we’d let leave on a free…

Good side, but surely we've had a better free GK?
