Jon the Hat Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 Jeez, again a little perspective. He has said that he has held talks with the club, but all the reports that I have read the club say no talks have taken place. Even the mighty he says that the chances are only 50/50. Let this thread die til we have proper confirmation. What next: Mandaric likes Red Leicester cheese: Cue 1 (maybe 2) hyperactive posters to declare that Mandaric is coming to Leicester and will make us wear red home kits, so lets start a demonstration now. Come on, chill out. If it happens, it happens. If not, we keep this ol' shite. No! I'll talk about this until we hit the big 50!

It's a forum, none of it can be taken too seriously people are entitled to enjoy the moment, it's like scoring first against the Arse, Chelsea, Man U et al when you know the chances of winning are still pretty slim you still jump up out of your seat, hug the nearest stranger, leap in the air, raise your arm and roar at the top of your voice. In this scenario we probably have more chance. Mind you I'm still firmly sat on the fence.
Thracian Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 This new revelation reminds me of Happy Gilmore when Happy learns how to put. Ultra has took on the role as Shooter McGavin and it's just stepped up a gear!. Great film. My youngest recites bits of the script as a party piece and usually comes up with "You jackass" just before I putt when we're playing together!. Kids eh!
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 I my be gone for the afternoon, I am currently on a MM fact finding mission, with some potential hilarious concequences. Watch this space.
Ric Flair Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 Great film. My youngest recites bits of the script as a party piece and usually comes up with "You jackass" just before I putt when we're playing together!. Kids eh! "Roll up, roll up, see if you can out drive the golf ball whacker, guy!"

Monk Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 Thats a decent spot davieG, at last I have some faith that all the chat around this isnt all hot air. MANDARIC IN!
Ric Flair Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 I'm pinning all my hopes on this, in the same way some fat sweaty neanderthal does on X-Factor. Simon/Milan, don't let me down.
stez Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 Mandaric, on a break in Cyprus after resigning as Pompey chairman 10 days ago, told The News: 'If I go back into British football, Leicester would be on my radar. i'm off to cyprus in a couple of weeks, if he's in my hotel i'll have words. also i'll wear a leicester top 24/7 just incase he decides to buy the club of the first top he sees
davieG Posted 6 October 2006 Author Posted 6 October 2006 I would imagine now this is the talk of the town the LCFC board may well have to make some sort of announcement either to deny it, which would make MM or the The News (Portsmouth) out to be liars or to confirm that talks have happened therefore demonstrating that they are in control of the situation.
Monk Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 E I E I E I O (no wait.... dont count my chickins before the eggs!) Monk is very hopeful!! Get STAN and MILAN in. What a combo!
Master Fox Posted 6 October 2006 Posted 6 October 2006 i'm off to cyprus in a couple of weeks, if he's in my hotel i'll have words. also i'll wear a leicester top 24/7 just incase he decides to buy the club of the first top he sees It should be every Leicester City fans (Apart from Ultra) duty to do everything in their power to make Milan's takeover happen!
