ithuriel Posted 27 September 2006 Posted 27 September 2006 he wont announce anything until it is happening but i can really see the board fooking this up if he has a look at leicester. i just do not have the confidence in them anymore , i almost expect failure from them now.

Steven Posted 27 September 2006 Posted 27 September 2006 He is going to Bournemouth. Source But we're quickly back to old ways with the claims that Milan Mandaric has been having visions of a door in Bournemouth's Fitness First Stadium bearing the plaque 'Mr Mandaric: owner',
davieG Posted 27 September 2006 Author Posted 27 September 2006 He is going to Bournemouth. Source I'll pop over there tomorrow and have a word whilst Im this way
Ric Flair Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Well he wouldn't have to move house, but it would hardly be a very exciting investment, it would take a few years to get them to even where Leicester are in terms of potential. Plus would they ever attract 30,000+ crowds?.
Louise Posted 28 September 2006 Posted 28 September 2006 Interesting that he says exactly the same thing about them that he says about us: "Bournemouth is a club I have a lot of respect for, English football is the only place to be."I have been involved in football for the last 30 years and do not intend to stop now." link *whispers* Maybe there's nothing in it at all...

Louise Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Let's keep this thread going... Mandaric unsure of AFCB potentialMilan Mandaric has spoken for the first time about whether or not he is interested in taking over at AFC Bournemouth. The former Portsmouth Chairman is currently not considering a move for any club because his heart is still at Portsmouth as he only left the club last week. Speaking to the Daily Echo Mandaric said... 'With the greatest respect to Bournemouth, I'm in a cooling-off period after my emotional departure from Portsmouth so I'm really not at the stage where I would like to consider any club at this time.' But when he was pushed on the issue of a takeover of AFC Bournemouth he wouldn't rule out a move. 'I'm not ruling out anything. 'I am considering staying in English football.' '...I know quite a lot about Bournemouth because we were almost neighbours and I like the club. I love the area, it's beautiful.' But Milan questioned the potential of the Cherries and doubted whether or not Bournemouth could support a Premiership club. 'The only drawback is that I'm not quite sure that the potential is there. I'm not sure it could become a Premier League club and do what Portsmouth have done. 'That's something that remains to be investigated.' http://www.bournemouth.vitalfootball.co.uk...cle.asp?a=32526
lildave3 Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 i think if he buys anyone, it'll be a championship club, i.e us or wolves
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Wheyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! Milan! Milan! Milan!
gosfox Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 I would imagine Bournemouth to be non-starters in terms of potential....He is keeping his cards close to his chest though gosfox
ithuriel Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 ok im going to use my limited imagination here and pretend that the board are trying to get the gates up even though its a good proportion of freebies to make the club look more attractive to an investor or am i being optimistic in thinking the board are doing this? i've just gotten up by the way and am still half asleep
step Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 ok im going to use my limited imagination here and pretend that the board are trying to get the gates up even though its a good proportion of freebies to make the club look more attractive to an investor or am i being optimistic in thinking the board are doing this? i've just gotten up by the way and am still half asleep They want the gates up, but it is nothing to do with an investor, itys to get the money in. If Mandaric buy into city it wont be because of short term recent results, capacity or other wise, it will be because of the potential the club has, and to see that potential he need only look at out first season in the new bowl.
