Lineker's Left Foot Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 After just reading on another thread, which current players (or even those just retired) if they scored against City now wouldn't celebrate because they love our club ??? I can think of Steve Claridge - who I think didn't celebrate when he scored for Millwall before the Lions went onto lose 4-1 to us. Is this right? What other players would react the same? I can remember Jimmy Quinn doing something similar as well when he scored for Bradford against us!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 I can't see Emile Heskey celebrating too much.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Nalis milked it for all it was worth the other day....
Finnegan Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 I'd like to think Savo wouldn't. He did it to the Birmingham fans but he didn't really enjoy his time at Brum. I could be wrong, mind, as he may have done it already? Can't remember him scoring against us, mind.

When we played birmingham after la manga he kissed their badge in front of the city fans.... savage only cares about savage.
The People's Hero Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 When we played birmingham after la manga he kissed their badge in front of the city fans.... savage only cares about savage. Indeed. That hurt a bit, to be fair.
Strokes Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 When we played birmingham after la manga he kissed their badge in front of the city fans.... savage only cares about savage. Yeah i remember that well, i was quite upset at the time but then muzzy scored soon after and the rest is history.
Ricey Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Yeah i remember that well, i was quite upset at the time but then muzzy scored soon after and the rest is history. Wasn't it Ferdinand that scored?
Dazed and Confused Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 I was about to say it was Ferdinand too.
Ric Flair Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Yeah i remember that well, i was quite upset at the time but then muzzy scored soon after and the rest is history. It was Ferdinand, supplied by the legend that is Muzzle.
Dr The Singh Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 It was Ferdinand, supplied by the legend that is Muzzle. I'm sure it was muzzy, he had come back from injury that game and scored!!!
Strokes Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 It was Ferdinand, supplied by the legend that is Muzzle. Are you sure? I would have bet my house on that.
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 I see Dennis Wise being very humble. He's signing a playing contract at Leeds in January BTW.
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Are you sure? I would have bet my house on that. It was definatley Ferdinaned from 3 yards.
Louise Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 When we played birmingham after la manga he kissed their badge in front of the city fans.... savage only cares about savage. Don't forget in the home game he also moaned at the ref to send Elliott off and celebrated their two goals wildly.
Louise Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 It was definatley Ferdinaned from 3 yards. And then we brought on the might of Trev and the Birmingham players did tremble.
Strokes Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 It was definatley Ferdinaned from 3 yards. I think i have been smoking too much weed, seriously though it was Muzzys celebration i remember which is why i probably thought he scored.
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Don't forget in the home game he also moaned at the ref to send Elliott off and celebrated their two goals wildly. He feels the club and fans didn't show him enough suppourt over the shitting in the refs toilet incident (only Robbie Savage would do that) Sorry Robbie, if you need to go to a club that will support you in shitting wherever you want so be it.
Sods Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 I think i have been smoking too much weed, seriously though it was Muzzys celebration i remember which is why i probably thought he scored. It was definately Les, i remember his celebration when he flunge dhimself round the goal. INNOCENT game
Joe. Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Muzzy wouldn't have celebrated a goal against us had he still been playing
filbertway Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Muzzy wouldn't have celebrated a goal against us had he still been playing Trevor Benjamin, such a cult hero. And he started a wave once at the walkers
lildave3 Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Trevor Benjamin, such a cult hero. And he started a wave once at the walkers As did MA i believe, in that 4-0 win over Wimbledon, Dickov hat-trick.
eaststandtom Posted 15 November 2006 Posted 15 November 2006 When we played birmingham after la manga he kissed their badge in front of the city fans.... savage only cares about savage. yeah i remeber he did it at the walkers to when they won 2v0 the willy puller!!!
