To think we have Wright, Scriven, Handscomb and Rahane to come into the Championship XI for the remaining Champo fixtures is exciting. Will we also be able to keep Goldsworthy on loan for the remaining fixtures too, I wonder?

I for one will be attending the t20 on Saturday. No brainer. Stuff those overpaid pre madonas in Germany! I tell what is coming home. The T20 trophy!

Liam Trevekis  almost fit so doubt if we will keep Goldsworthy

Not sure you need to eat humble pie with Mike we all know he has talent which he shows on odd occasions  but for the most part  he's a liability . Hope he can kick on and found some consistency  but not sure he will

What % of wages do teams pay when cricketers are on loan? 
 

Trimming the squad and relying on the loan market may be quite a shrewd money saving measure by the club.

Who knows imagine  we are paying Currie salary in full considering  he's on loan for the season same with Holland not sure about the Somerset boys

Biggest advantage of loans is they are sent back if unfit so no cost then. Goldsworthy here until the end of the blast at least think it may until the end of the one day stuff?

Don’t BBC Sport like Leicestershire as I find it rather odd that yesterdays amazing win over Middlesex who had not lost a game this season and Leicestershires first win of the season was not even mentioned in the BBC Sports cricket reports. Unless my eyes have gone

My take is that we have trimmed the squad therefore have a bit more lying around. I hope anyway, because the alternative is worrying.

Short contracts to start with, give us a big boost to try and get to the latter lucrative stages of tournaments etc. 

 

It's gambling but with not tying people down to long contracts it's not unhealthy gambling.

Time will tell on that one £440k losses last year  and that was in  a year that Inc a Tom Jones concert and an Eng ladies match which will be higher this year its a real gamble if we make the qf then it will have payed off
