I'd say this is one of the most comprehensive wins we've had in some time. Really excellent. Dare we hope for something this summer??

I remember the season Robbie Joseph got 14 wickets in the first game and we didn’t win another game all season

It’s the hope that kills you…. But why not!

Brilliant start.

Bookies see us better than the very bottom lot IMG_2368.thumb.png.3351be47c252c756dc589863ab9c8cb3.png

Top two makes sense but the rest is way more of a lottery. Easy to put Derbyshire as the also-rans, but I reckon they'll do a better this year. Looked a much more confident side from what I saw of their game.

I'd have Kent above Middlesex in terms of pre season odds.

Caleb Jewell is a very good pick up by Derbyshire and he's started very well, scoring at a good rate.

Not surprised given you've got a crush on Bell-Drummond (like me). :D Big year ahead for Muyeye if they use him right too.

Jewell looks to be what Budinger could be if he took the really loose shots out of his game and went slightly more measured with his risk-taking. Shouldn't be too harsh though, can't complain with a 50 and seeing us home tonight. He's stepped up impressively this weekend with Patel's injury.

They also have Crawley which counters my love of Bell-Drummond lol

It's a good overseas pick up as well because by the sounds of it he'll be there all season across all formats, that's the benefit of targeting that level of player

Kent have a quality Top order. Look at the runs in their locker compared to everyone else.  DBD Compton Crawley Leaning Muyeye Denley nobody else has batsmen of that quality in Div 2. They must be big favourites in my book

Lancs are close.

County can give it a go. Why not!

I've asked this before but didn't really get a proper answer. Does anyone know if the club are still doing the free after tea this season? I'm thinking of going down for a couple of hours after work on Friday.

RR confirmed this on the stream yesterday. The Glamorgan commentator joked that Glam should be paying punters to attend after tea with what they were serving up.

With Rishi and Wrighty out with injury, and Hull still not available, I assume we'll line up like this v Derbys:

Budinger

Holland

Hill

Handscomb

Kimber

Ahmed

Cox

Van Beek

Mike

Green
