Made sense the pitch is starting to play up and only going to get more and more uneven bounce they need to bowl us out but not concede runs 194-1 in a one innings game with the pitch getting worse is a hell of a strong position

I don't like follow ons. Would rather have the bowlers resting whilst the pitch gets worse and have their batsmen standing in a field for as long as possible.

 

First innings they bowled over 100 overs to our 65 odd.

 

I'd tell Dearden and whoever's coming in at 3 to just block the first 6 overs. Plenty of time. Just get rid of the new ball.

I think they will win the league pretty comfortably. If we go up, it won't be as champions so them beating Kent would probably be a decent result for us.

 

On top of that, you'd have to say fair play for chasing that total if they do it!
