After signalling 69 (sixty-nine) boundaries plus all the various sundries in the Sussex innings, the umpires were simply too shattered to bother with signalling them by the time our dig started. There were probably loads.

Closest one wins a dairy milk.

Sussex win by an innings & … runs.

I’ll go for 237.

Bit late to the party but I reckon we will hold on for a draw.

Enjoyed today.

Well this afternoon

A great batting performance from those two yesterday.

For Azad to go like that on what is clearly a great batting strip is not good.

Hope we can really dig in and frustrate today

Get in Kimber! Had some freebies there but still must never be easy going out after a restless night in the 90s. Hope he can push on now.

I'm at the ground so not easy to tell but that LBW looked leg side and high.

I knew Kimber and Patel had in them, we've just not seen them put it all together yet so pleased with two great knocks. They're a good age and not short of opportunities with us.

Sad for Rishi, but it will come. He’s good, very good. So daft that those of us who play cricket get freaked about by a number. If you’d offered him 99 as he walked to the crease yesterday he’d have bitten your hand off

Maybe Sussex didn't want to risk being caught in the table ;)

Well I'd say it's worth a punt to just throw caution to the wind and just have a go now.

See if we can't put some pressure on them. 20 overs left we can get 140

either this is the biggest batsman’s pitch ever seen or both teams have the equal worst bowling attacks in the country

Bit of both. But it does look very flat from here. 100 for Mulder.

Not quite Leicestershire but Keaton Jennings looks on for a big one (300+).

Even on a flat deck I’m pleased with how we’ve batted, especially with our most reliable batters Azad and Hill failing.

Just posted about Jennings in the general cricket thread, he's having a very good season.

He’s also started smacking it in t20, so could be a potential England recall if he plays aggressively in all forms.
