Really confirms what everyone agreed on last year that it was pretty naive to not bring in an overseas batsman. Handscomb and then Rahane afterwards should make a huge difference in keeping us in games.

Yorkshiremen were always going to give them shit either way, but they definitely don't deserve it for trying to actually win a game that had a few hours wiped out - especially in the Bazball era where there seems to be pressure from above (even more so for counties that provide more Test players) to play aggressive, risky cricket too.
