Strange Regarding cox he has been one of our best players across both formats. they must think the pitch is gonna be another spinners paradise and want kimber in the side for this reason. Also trevaskis and Rehan have both recently recovered from injuries so they might want to try and limit their workloads as much as they can.

Not sure how Rishi survived those first few overs. Canterbury has had some very good batting decks this season, can’t imagine this will play too differently with the ball type too.

I hope they are just giving Cox a break and there has been no fall out, he's been brilliant and comes across very well.

 

They have played a lot of cricket. It makes sense as Hanscombe has had a nice break. Maybe Cox then comes back in full throttle for the 50 Over.

Kent put is in as well. Might not mean a lot but not the sort of thing u would expect them to do if they thought it was a belter where 400 would be under par.

Apart from first game of the season, there’s been high scores at Canterbury all season. This pitch is very dry though so hopefully Rehan can work his magic against young batters. Can imagine Holland will get a lot out of this too.
