We moan about Richard Rae but imagine being a Derbyshire fan having to listen Dreary Dave.

I think Richard is excellent. Old school commentary for the radio listener which is how it should be done. He actually describes what is happening on the pitch which is what we want to know!

I’ve just had a glance at the Div 2 table. If I didn’t know better I’d think it was upside down! Kent, Middlesex and Lancashire at the bottom, Leicester, Derby and Glamorgan at the top! Great times!

The Leics Comms aren't too bad. Not overly stuffy unlike some of the other counties.

Watershed game for Rehan. 150 runs and plenty of wickets in both innings. Batting wise, if he can get a big ton (170+) I think that will get him the seal of approval that he can play solely as a batsman, which makes him an automatic pick as second spinner on all sub continent tours and probably gives him the chance to play as the first choice spinner on occasion, as they know he can back it up with big runs.

I like the soft welsh tones of the Glams commentator. The Gloucs guy comes across as knowledgeable albeit a bit pompous but their old commentator was totally biased and sounded like he liked a decent boozy lunch sometimes.

Being a first class cricket commentator, going around the country, having lunches (maybe even boozy ones) would be close to the dream job I reckon.

Some of the lunches at the grounds are pretty ordinary and I would think that booze would be best avoided. You wouldn’t want to fall asleep mid sentence before tea!! Or is that what you meant by a “dream” job?

You mean to tell me that watching Leicestershire up and down the country for the past 20 years wouldn’t turn you to the liquor?

Liquor? After watching the likes of Jacques du Toit and Wayne White up and down the country, I'm surprised RR didn't end up a crack addict.

Is tomorrow Championes day??  No rain in sight for about 10 days in Derby:D

Unlikely. Glamorgan will move into second should they win which chasing another 182 with 10 wickets in hand looks likely.

Looking like we will need 45 points from our last 4 games to guarantee promotion.

That’s obviously if Derbyshire get maximum points in those 4 games. More likely 20-30 will be enough.

Yeah promotion is all but secured. But from this position we need to be looking at winning it.

Anyone going down tomorrow or any of the World Cricket legends matches at Grace Road? Looking forward to seeing what it's all about and maybe pick up a few signatures!

But wonder what numbers will be like given tickets are still freely available

Pavilion was more cordoned than usual but managed to meet AB De Villiers after the game! Smashed a century off about 40 balls lol

Was a decent evening, expecting the numbers to pick up a bit for when India are there on Tuesday though
