Fair play to him.. a player who has a bit of artistic integrity and will stand up for what he believes in. He'll do well at the alternative, express yourself, gamble yourself silly, crackden that is LCFC.

The story will probably have originated from his agent, who will be looking for the best deal for his player, Wigan can offer mega-wages but its a question of how interested they are, from the sounds of it their not massively interested so if things remain as they are we should secure him... doubt we'll know for a while though. Don't you have medicals after you've agreed terms and are ready to sign for a club? Or was he ready to sign and then caught wind of the pie fiddlers luke warm interest and is stalling on it?
