shame sounds promising aswell

Whats a shame? He hasn't signed for anyone yet, is still looking for a new club and may still come here. Articles like this and the Hendrie one are standard fare...agents trying to drum up interest in their client and trying to attract the best deal available for them. Besides, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that he would rather go to a club a prem club than a championship side...at 21 who wouldn't? Doesn't mean to say that he won't though. BE OPTIMISTIC.

hard to be optimistic really, pulling power of the prem is too much. Shame, but I do feel the more people we are signing the bigger the buzz is getting. We've got money, just need to see one ballsy move now. Then the gates will be open

goodness me... 54 caps for your country by the age of 21???

Downside could be that he'll be away on International duty a lot. Not something we normally have to consider when signing players!

Haven't Wigan just signed a right back in Melchiot? They also have Ryan Taylor and Boyce plays at right back when needed.

I think we've got the death grip on him. He's ours.

I hope so. Its been a while since we had a really skillfull player and I think his signing may put a few extra bums on seats as well from parts of the community that the club have been trying to attract for years.
