Master Fox Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 If we get £1million for Elvis, I'll go to every game wearing nothing more than a pink dress and I'll even get a portrait of Elvis tattooed on my arm.

More importantly, who's the lovely lady in your sig, and how come you haven't introduced me to her or given me sloppies????
Master Fox Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 More importantly, who's the lovely lady in your sig, and how come you haven't introduced me to her or given me sloppies???? She’s new Singh! But unfortunately sloppies may have to be delayed this time. Not that I’m ruling them out completely.

I didnt quite catch it, but it is something to do with Fowler. nothing on SS website yet though.. Interesting. Kind of puts a spin on the old Campbell, Mcleod, Fryatt debate. I want Fryatt gone, and all three of the new strikers mentioned signed up.
breadandcheese Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2502062,00.html And there's the link. Never too sure as to how much is uncle Milan playing the PR game and how much is true.
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Milans right about one thing, Fowlers descion will have little to do with wages imo. The bloke is already set up for life, I think he will probabley go to Sydney.
Daggers Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Fowler is a top target for CityRobbie Fowler has been confirmed as a prime Leicester City target by chairman Milan Mandaric. Mandaric confirmed that he would be prepared to offer Fowler, the subject of much speculation, the challenge of restoring City to the top flight. He is keeping a close eye on the 32-year-old former Liverpool, Manchester City and Leeds player's current negotiations with Australian side Sydney FC. Cardiff are also rivals for his signature but Mandaric is undeterred and said: “Our rebuilding is not completed yet. “We are still looking for more power up-front and Fowler could give us that. “I have been talking with his representatives and we know there is competition for him but it is not always about money. “I think we would be the right club for someone really looking for the right challenge.'' With Carl Cort already signed and a £2 million bid for Birmingham striker DJ Campbell near to agreement, firepower is clearly a concern in the new regime. But, of the 11 players signed so far, Cort is the only striker. Mandaric said: “We will see what happens through the pre-season and into August, but I said right away this would be a major rebuilding job for the club and that is still the case.'' Just like the £750,000 deal which brought Stephen Clemence to City from the Blues last week, the Campbell deal has dragged on longer than manager Martin Allen would have liked. But Allen is so far pleased with how the build-up is going and said: “The two games on Saturday went well and now we will step it up a little at Hinckley tomorrow night in our next match.'' Clemence will not feature in that clash because he is behind the rest of the squad in his fitness regime but could make an appearance at the end of the week, either at Mansfield on Friday night or in the home game against Notts County on Saturday before the week-long trip to Scotland. Ric Flair Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Whenever Mandaric publicly states we're in for a player, we usually don't get them. I'm not doubting we don't try and sign these players, but Mandaric usually let's this out of the bag to try and raise the media storm. I would be delighted if we got Fowler and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg.
Daggers Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Hume, Fowler, DJ and Mcleod. Slobbers. ...and Cort. don't forget, err, Cort.
Master Fox Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Hume, Fowler, DJ and Mcleod. Slobbers. That’s what I’m talking about. Can’t see Matty The Fatty even getting a sniff. De Vries is probably more likely to get a game.

He has to say it, there's no way MM can state we are aiming for the Premiership and not make it publicly know that we are in the running for the 'name' Championship striker signing of the summer. It's all rhubarb. Wherever he's going, it isn't here.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Milans right about one thing, Fowlers descion will have little to do with wages imo. The bloke is already set up for life, I think he will probabley go to Sydney. I agree. But if he decides he wants to stay in this country and be competitive, I think he'll come here. I'd love to see the buzz about the place if we signed him.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 Oh. My. God.It might actually happen. Yeah but it probably won't. But it might. But... Nahhhhhhhhh.
Daggers Posted 16 July 2007 Posted 16 July 2007 There's more chance of me working my way through Girls Aloud, finishing off on the ginger one's tits in the centre circle at half-time against Blackpool.
