Phlashman Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Needs a bit more than a few people saying they've "heard it's true". But Grayson, Little, Frank and Taggs sounds like a team that would please alot of people.
Thracian Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 He was one of my top top choices at one time but I'd have preferred the attacking philosophy of Joe Royle. Seems like we'll never have anyone in charge at Leicester who genuinely believes in going forward. Prepare yourselves for more functional football - more of the 1-0 will do approach. In truth I cannot see what Grayson would add to Burrows and Taggart. How many cooks do we really need in the kitchen? Like all the others I'll wish him well though - because that story sounds pretty convincing. Grayson the Third (or Fifth if you count them all). How many more before the end of the season I wonder?

Were Blackpool not the second highest scorers in their league last season then?

Fat Ron Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 He reckons there is something in it. Might pop down the bookies then!!
ronnup Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I would prefer Peter Reid who cares! with this action packed roller coaster we'll have Monkey Heed by xmas!!!!!
Phube Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Wouldn't mind a Grayson/Little team myself... With Taggs somwhere in the background! Hope it's true, better than the other 'Three'....
Dr The Singh Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I would prefer Peter Reid What for a date, cus he's a terrible manager??????!
Master Fox Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 What for a date, cus he's a terrible manager??????! Actually, both!!!
Fat Ron Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I was watching the Big League and Micky Adams & Brian Little were on the Panel, when it came to the Leicester game Little kept going on about City with 3 big strong lads at the back playing a tough game "like they did a few years ago" Cheesy grin and a slight look toward camera.. Didnt think much of his comment before but now this story seems to be picking up pace I wonder if he meant anything by it with referance to him being here before or maybe him coming back?? Particularly like the bit were Little had a dig at Adams for stepping back to Assistant Manager at Colchester. If this were to happen though, I doubt that Steve Walsh would get a look in... I dont think he and Brian see eye to eye... Well not as much as Walshy and Mrs Little anyways..
SamL Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I'd love it to be Grayson with a Little/Taggs/Burrows coaching combination behind him. This would be a quality appointment althought it would be a bit of a risk as he's not that experienced. Don't get excited yet, it still could be Reid... I don't know why but I feel excited about the club at the moment. It's filled me with renewed optimism. If we get on a run, get players back fit and start winning at home we could be a force in this division. If we're there or there abouts in January, spend some money then you never know what could happen. I've got a feeling that MM isn't going to make a poor appointment, and this time he's going to get the right man. Prove me right please boys
harpendenfox Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Grayson is currently manager of a team in the Championship relegation zone.
Lovejoy Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I would be well happy with this As there's nothing concrete yet though I won't hold my breath
martyn Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Grayson was also the manager of a team who won 10 successive games in League 1 last season playing attractive football. Anybody prepared to imply that Steve Tilson is a bad manager after all he got a team promoted then relegated.....
Bert Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Grayson is currently manager of a team in the Championship relegation zone. Grayson was also the manager of a team who won 10 successive games in League 1 last season playing attractive football. That team also beat us at the Walkers stadium too.
mancunianfox Posted 6 November 2007 Author Posted 6 November 2007 Grayson is currently manager of a team in the Championship relegation zone. Who have miniscule resources compared to most other teams in the division. Blackpool were around the league one relegation zone when he took over. He kept them up and got them promoted next season. That is impressive.

I won't be happy unless our new manager has won every single game he has ever managed in. 5-0 And won fourteen trophies. All league titles. Mostly our league. And never been relegated. Our fans are morons.

But he's got a wicked deep voice!
