I don’t speak to anyone in my family. Last time was around ten months ago and the conversation lasted for less than a minute and consisted of me uttering monosyllablic noises.

Like Daggers, I have plenty of family I do not trust. I was referring more to how people allow themselves to be foul because Maresca might be leaving.
