The People's Hero Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Why is Arsene Wenger consistently overlooked? He's got real results, success and attractive football at Arsenal. You can stuff your Martin Ling up your arse.
Monk Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I bought a ling off Loughborough market once, it wasn't a pretty sight. Didn't taste too great either. Ling out!
Father Ted Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 This poll is absurd, it's missing most of the realistic candidates we've been linked with. I know, like where is Avram Grant? How about another poll like this but with the bookies favourites?
Daggers Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 This poll is absurd, it's missing most of the realistic candidates we've been linked with. My dog has asked me to announce to the media that he no longer wishes to be considered for this position.
Thracian Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I bought a ling off Loughborough market once, it wasn't a pretty sight. Didn't taste too great either.Ling out! I'm sure I bought a record about a Ding A Ling once! That wasn't too clever either.
Master Fox Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 I'm sure I bought a record about a Ding A Ling once! That wasn't too clever either. I've got a dong, but unfortunately today confirmed that it's out of the running of potential managerial candidates.
Monk Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 My doorbell goes ding dong, but I still don't hear Simon Grayson knocking at the door.
Lillehamring Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 anyone got access to the 'manager update' on the OS?
Mark Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 anyone got access to the 'manager update' on the OS? He wants the manager in by 15th June. In response to a question saying that the fans think the new man should be someone who knows the club/ex player ( ), he said he is looking for someone to get us out of this division in this season, thats all that matters.
GLC Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Simon Grayson as manager and steve walsh and gerry taggert part of the backroom staff
Phlashman Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 anyone got access to the 'manager update' on the OS? Yeah, basically it's Milan saying he's already started the search, new manger no later than the 10th-15th June. Doesn't matter if he's already in a job or not and basically they'd have to deliver promotion next season.
Kilworthfox Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Steve Cotterill, been here before and did a good job under Adams with the defence I remember! Has a good record considering the circumstances he worked too and is unemployed.
teblin Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Yeah, basically it's Milan saying he's already started the search, new manger no later than the 10th-15th June. Doesn't matter if he's already in a job or not and basically they'd have to deliver promotion next season. That Bukta kit is awesome!

We need someone to help get us some goals make the team function as one instead of separate units.
demon_dog Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Time 19.02 Tuesday 27 May 2008. According to the OS there are NO job vacancies at LCFC.

I like him a lot, a bit defensive but very good tactically and i would back us to go up under Steve Cotterill!!
Legend_in_blue Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Milan TV interview. A very interesting interview to say the least. Had I been drinking a cuppa at the end of that one, most of it would have ended up on the settee. Some I agree with, some I don't. Firstly, I like MMs fighting talk but it really puts the pressure on big time now. Premiership in two seasons is all well and good - but to achieve this? An achievement on this scale would rival any of our previous history - including that of MONs. I like the sentiment behind it, but I can't see it happening. Secondly, to play down the Billy Davies link suggests that Davies is high, if not highest, on the hitlist. Get him in. Get Davies in now. Billy Davies "is da man". He could be a legend. Bring in Davies and include Walshie in the backroom staff. Don't wait until June 15 - get Davies in now. Lastly, to suggest that holding on to the services of Megson for the remainder of the season would have secured us at least a playoff position, is sheer lunacy of the highest possible order. I can't believe that MM gave a pretty good 5 minute interview up until this point, to then ruin it with such a bizarre statement at the end. Megson would have steered us into the playoffs? Are you serious? Apart from MMs closing comments, all in all, good interview.
Daggers Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 Milan TV interview. The bloke is ill. You look at the mannerisms - rocking about like a psycho ward patient. And that final pay-off statement is cock. Megson was good for draws, he wouldn't have taken us up - that's just MM's bitterness coming through. Suck it up Milan, you made bad decisions, live with it.
Legend_in_blue Posted 27 May 2008 Posted 27 May 2008 The bloke is ill.You look at the mannerisms - rocking about like a psycho ward patient. I wonder what he was standing on. Maybe the foundations are rocking somewhat (literally).

Makes you wonder if he's actually up to lasting 2 years let alone getting into the Premier League. We then get him and Blanderson blaming the fans for putting unnecessary expectations/pressure on the manager and players because we actually want them to win to games on the the fooking bounce!!!!!!!!
Ric Flair Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 I'd like to write more, but I can't get past the suit jacket of Mandaric's.
The People's Hero Posted 28 May 2008 Posted 28 May 2008 I've heard he's changing his name to Milan MandaRic Flair.
