Yep, I don't get it either.

How have so many people learnt to hog the middle lane, too? There should be more said about it.

It's all about mindless territory.

Middle lane hoggers on the motorway.

There needs to be a TV ad campaign or something about this, it seems to be getting worse. I always assumed it was folk absent mindedly forgetting to move back in after overtaking but I've seen enough drivers deliberately moving into the middle when they don't need to make me think it's a conscious choice. Absolutely baffling.

This and parking up with your engine on. I go to the same supermarket at the same time every week, and there's nearly always the same bloke sat in his car with the engine running, usually with his partner in the car with him. In the last week I've been at different times AND HE WAS THERE THEN AS WELL. I wonder if he ever thinks, my car only does 14 miles to the gallon, why is that?

I've gone past the point of caring for obvious middle lane hoggers, I just undertake them now.

If I'm right in thinking, it's actually encouraged if safe to do so.

Fair enough. I keep a pile of hotel slippers at the front door for this instance and wash after every use. Especially if guest has no socks and takes that as a sign they can keep their shoes on. No way, get the slippers on mush

Who in their right mind is going to someone else's house without socks and expecting to walk around barefoot? Grim behaviour.

Unfortunately apparently not, last I heard. Unless both lanes are moving slowly like in a traffic jam.

About three years ago the traffic cops said they were going to come down hard on the hoggers.I think a few drivers were made an example of but other than that??

The matrix signs often say stay in the left lane unless overtaking.

Unless it's changed, the Highway Code says it's 'discouraged' or words to that effect. It does mention slow moving traffic but I don't remember if it defines what that means. If some div is doing 60 in lane 3 of 4 with the inside two empty, I can't believe you're expected to go round them if you're doing 70 in the inside lane. That's more dangerous than staying where you are

They did indeed say this, but I've no idea if this is something they routinely have people for. It does seem to be getting a bit out of hand, and the more that do it, the more 'normal' it becomes, it would seem

I drive where I want these days and don't  care. Why???

Well, here in Canada we made licenses easier to obtain for immigrants and they drive exactly how and where they want just like they do back home. No jokes, my fellow Indian immigrants who live in places like Brampton (major brown population) are tossers. Speed like stupid idiots,  do u-turns whenever and whereever they please. They drive the speed limit in the fast lane and don't move out of the way, it's a ****in shit show. Don't get me started on all the indian auntie's who can't park a massive SUV and park over two spaces lol.

Think I might be racist against my own kind? Lol. For what it's worth my a lot of my Indian family agree. Maybe we are too westernized!

So, because of this crap, everyone else does it now.

I have been driving here for 29 years and can say back then people respected the rules of the road.  Heck, we even would flick out headlights to warn for things like coppers ahead etc. Nobody does that these days. They see you flashing lights and want to fight you instead lol.

To me, an Ultra is someone who drops his trousers in front of an entire Primary School and cries about this forum whenever he can.

The shit farmers are getting all because the green eyed monster sees asset wealth despite the industry being cash poor.

Isn’t passing on land a moot point with regards to actual wealth if the off spring retain that land to farm which is probably what they will do, why do we want them to have to sell to pay inheritance tax until there is nothing to sell and our countryside and ability to naturally produce our own food is covered in bricks and mortar?

Principal? yeah lets fight for payrises of industries that provide a bad service, lets give bonuses to industries to get their employees to work 5 days week etc.

Regardless of farming type they receive pennies in the pound for the graft they put into producing food for our plates, glasses and exports.

A cattle farmer will tend to a cow from birth to slaughter yet receive little over double for the entire cow than a chef in london will charge for a single steak meal, a steak they have had for under 12hrs but let’s all rise up & be sad when a restaurant has to close its doors.

What is it they say will happen when the bee becomes extinct?

My opinion...   charge inheritance tax in lieu.

Don't collect it at the time it's due, instead wait until that land is sold, or monies obtained in the form of loan secured against its value.

Doesn't look like Cov to me but I do think these photos are HDR, which is a different shooting/editing process and results in images that have a slightly different appearance.
