maddog Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Fatty lazy Fryatt should be sold. Some fans say he is quality and the best finisher we have at the club, crap. Some say they want Dj Campbell out. But last season Campbell only made 19 starts scoring 5. Fatty Fryatt made 25 starts only scoring 3 times. A lot of people say that if Fryatt had a long run in the team he would score bags of goals, well he wouldn't. Dj was injured last season and was ousted from the team after MA left and by Ollie. If Dj had a run in the team he would score. And with rumours floating around today that Dj may be going i am worried. Leicester striker DJ Campbell is a £1.5m target for Championship rivals Watford and Cardiff with Charlton also waiting in the wings. (Daily Star) If we sold one i would sell Matty Fryatt without question, he has been consistently a total failiure since he signed, if he had put away all those sitters he missed last season we never would have gone down, not that i'm blaming him for our relegation entirely. Without Hume, DJ is very important to us. Dj has had 1 season, and was injured to prove himself, Fryatt has had 3 or 4 im only guessing and he has been useless in all of them. So who would you choose Fryatt or Campbell.
samlcfc1 Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 fryatt hasnt been working hard enough and has not done enough to make me think he will set league one alight, DJ on the other hand could be a real asset
Jimmy Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 fryatt hasnt been working hard enough and has not done enough to make me think he will set league one alight, DJ on the other hand could be a real asset except for the small detail that he DID set league 1 alight, hence the reason we bought him in the 1st place, where as we only bought DJ cus Allen loves him.... its a close call but Fryatt's better control and all round ability just shade it for me, though in reality I'd sell both
sdb Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 both should be good in this division. it's down to whether or not they give a damn

Ashley Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 I've got faith in both of them. I think both will come good this season given the chance.
Jack Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Im fairly confident that both could do a decent job at this level, although I wouldn't be too bothered if they left.
demon_dog Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Let's face it there's nothing to inspire you in either of them. Fryatt seems have a bit more of a footballing brain, get's into the positions you would expect a striker to be but lacks pace and can't score. Campbell has the pace but not the brains of Fryatt, but again can't score. If we could clone the two, then we'd have a striker with brains and pace, but can't score I give up.
casabian Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 Fatty lazy Fryatt should be sold. aye mate have u got fooking eyes or what, matty fryatt is not lazy he chaces everything you idiot, and he will get goals next season at least i hope he does to shut people up like you , its people like you that dont look what players do off the ball some of the runs matty make are just to clever for the other players to see
Jack Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 If they do stay I would knock £100 quid off their wages every time they were offside, they'd soon stay onside then. The amount of times they are both offside in a match is ridiculous.

Narborough Bod Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 I abstain! They are both gash Agree, Fryatt's goal ratio no better than MDV - nuff said.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 July 2008 Posted 9 July 2008 I'd keep DJ, but only because I feel he needs to stay to recoup some of he money we spent on him last summer. I've seen glimpses of a decent player in Fryatt. Ideally though, to get the best out of him, Hume is needed. And he fooked off.

So who would you choose Fryatt or Campbell. They are both important to us now. Howard is the striker who should be sold. Fryatt wasnt good last year and neither was DJ but I feel they have much more to offer than Steve Howard. Bit harsh to blame Fryatt for missing aload of sitters... Especially the Bristol City game at home. All of the strikers missed a hat full of chances and in reality if one striker had scored in that game we would still be in The Championship.
Samilktray Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Matty Fryatt is a douchebag. He is completely and utterly wank.
Asha Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 I'd vote to keep DJ and sell Fryatt...but both could be useful at this level.
Manwell Pablo Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Both have, and should score goals in League One. We won't get much better.
bigneville Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Both have, and should score goals in League One. We won't get much better. I'm sure i've heard that word far too many times before.
Daggers Posted 10 July 2008 Posted 10 July 2008 Hmmm...gash or gash? What a dilemma, just like being asked if you'd like to be kicked in the left or the right nut.
