No

we've got a gem to polish in Morrison

Hobbs has been class, Tunchev will be brilliant

Kisnorbo will have to fight hard for a place.

Good times though cause he is a good CB and now we've got 4 of them

Yes, he's our best defender by far and i beleive if he didn't get injured at the Sheff Wednesday game. We would have stayed up.

Same here. We were solid until he went off. We wouldn't have lost if he'd have stayed on.

............for the Tranmere game would he be in your starting line up?

How many imaginary games has he played in and how has he imaginarily done?

His performances in midfield only gave early warning of his inadequacies as a passer. And looking at his technique I don't think any amount of verbal sandblasting will make any difference.

Kisnorbo will remain popular because he's a 100 per center and exactly the kind of spirited performer some people would fill their team with given chance. Tiatto was from the same stable and inevitably had his fans.

Me, I think giving the ball away is the kiss of death to any aspiring champions. But we'll doubtless learn the hard way. We usually do. :D

I've had enough of these players who are "popular" because of their so called 100% never say quit kind of attitude. We had that with Hume, and I'm glad he's gone. Are we worse for it? No, I don't think so.

Are we worse off without Kisnorbo? No, I don't think so with him either.

Give me quality football over hard-working but not a lot else any day of the week please.

Should he come back into the team when he's fit? No. I don't think he should.

Don't you think Hume was just a replacement '100% never say quit kind of attitude player' and now that Humes gone we've just brought back the original

As for Kisnorbo, No he shouldn't automatically start if he was fit. Everybody has had a clean slate with Pearson and had to fight to get their places and once kissa's fit, if hes not sold on, and he shows hes ready to fight then yes give him a go by all means otherwise forget it mate.

At the minute though my thoughts are 'the starting XI we're using hasn't done much wrong so why change them??'

People say leave kisnorbo our cause his passing is poor. But as a defender i'd say he is still the best one we have.

There have been mayt good defenders who's passing leaves alot to be desired. A certain mr Walsh is the first that springs to my mind.

 Says an Arsenal fan....

We were shite up front and defense certainly wasn't the reason for relegation last season.

Thracian's right about his passing - it's poor, but Kisnorbo was one of the best 2 or 3 centre backs in the championship last season - he's our best player and he should be playing every week.

He's the best centre back we've had since we got relegated from the premier league so why wouldn't he play?

Kisnorbo has been decent for us to be honest.

But It does not merit a automatic starting place in the team once he is back.

I don't think Pearson is that kind of guy anyway, you will have to prove your the man for him, that's how he strikes me anyway.

Kisnorbo knows full well that he will have to fight to get back into this team, according to Birch he is working hard to get back to full fitness ASAP.

Maybe he is only doing it to get the fook out of here though.... lol

I think Tunchev isn't very good, he's half decent in the air, but with the ball at his feet I think he looks shaky, he's also very slow.

Kisnorbo would be playing left back at the moment I think.

That's very abrasive, abrasive fox, he seems very efficient at this level, time will tell my friend!!!

Abrasive by name, abrasive by nature.

i've nothing against the bloke, but i'm inclined to think he represents what NP and the start of this season has managed to get rid of...that old negativity, that losing mentality - getting rid of hume, mcauley et al has been, retrospectively thinking, the best thing we could have done, kisnorbo is another part of this.

morrison and tunchev sound very promising, and i think we'd even get another season's loan of hobbs if we go up, he won't be ready for the prem, hell if we go up and he's starting he might even fancy a permanent move.

kisnorbo, i'm afraid, is part of the old blood - i'd sell him, he's not gonna do a fryatt as he never really had potential unlike fryatt; he's just a hard working bloke who we got stuck with.

I think "take two touches and play it simple" is fairly simple for most professional footballers, however bad their passing might be. So long as a midfielder makes themselves availible. His passing wasn't as bad as McAuley's, who genuinely panicked in possession.

I know your feelings on people without silky skills and such, but I do think you need the odd person like the players you mentioned, especially for big games. Remember Tiatto's 19 minutes against Fulham first time round? We'd have won it had he not gone off injured.

I'm not actually saying Kisnorbo is necessarily better than who we've got at the minute, I don't actually know, but for now I know who I'd trust more in a playoff final.

Kisnorbo and McAuley finally got found out towards the end of last season. For months I'd been saying that they encourage the wrong type of play. Neither one of them had the inteligence to pick a simple pass to a midfielder.

Kisnorbo is a very good defedner, but, to me it starts and ends there.

Morrison, Tunchev and Hobbs seem to have a bit of awareness about them now. I would imagine that it's mainly down to Pearson teaching them from his own experience and it's good to see.

Howard seems to be benefitting from more inteligent balls and not just the basic hoof from McAuley and Kisnorbo which is what he'd become accustomed to.

So, for me, Kisnorbo is going to have to fight very hard to gain his place back.

The less players from last season the better, they have the ability but have failed to use it to our benefit. Hopefully Kisnorbo and Clemence get sold for a decent amount before being considered for selection again.

We can only hope, personally I don't think both want to be here anyway, so good riddence!!

I still think Clemence will come back and do very well for us personally. If we go up this season and manage to keep Kisnorbo he'll also be very good for us in the Championship whether as cover or first-team - we won't keep Hobbs.

I wouldn't discount us signing Hobbs next year if we get promoted. Ironically if he has a good season for us he might be out of our price range next season. I seriously don't see him going back to Liverpool and fighting for a first team place.
