Everything that wasn't happening last season is happening now, we are the ones getting the late goals to kill the game rather than conceding late equalisers or last minute winners. The strikers are scoring and we are getting the ball into the box. Great start to the season lets hope it continues.

Good result.

Slightly disappointed we conceded but it had to happen sooner or later and I'm obviously not too sure of the circumstances of their goal as I wasn't there.

Keep it up Leicester, I think we are in second place, pipping the rest on GD.

Also, my fiver on Fryatt for top goalscorer at 33/1 is not looking quite as outlandish a punt as it was when I placed it

:scarf: Well done Leicester :scarf:

Just got in.

Really enjoyed it. Thought Tranmere were a lot better than MK Dons and Stockport had been, although maybe that's not that surprising. They pressed us a lot, and found ourselves playing on the break quite a bit, but fortunately the movement in the team is improving all the time.

Was a bit worried when they scored, but great to see us going for the third goal right until the end and not sitting back too much. Also delighted to see everyone throwing themselves at the ball at the end to get it in the net.

I thought pretty much every player did well today

Was Gradel not in the match today? Taken off quite early.

I think he took a couple of knocks.

He was getting knocked about a bit. Poor chap.

Tell you what though. You'll never see a better free kick delivery all season than the one he played into Fryatt today for our 2nd.

He's an absolute gem. :chant:

Looking good.

Should be making more of the opportunities though and we could have put the game to bed before they scored making it a bit nervy, Dickov on the wing is a bit silly though Nige.

Pleased with the win obviously, I just think it's more the paucity of the opposition rather our quality. I like to see us really tonking teams like this.

The Fryatt love may continue but if he was a little more inteligent he could be a much better player. So many times he could have played a simple pass or got his shot away early but he's insistent on getting the perfect chance.

Howard was winning a lot again and got his goal. Can't ask for more.

Levi was poor, as was Gradel.

Oakley and King both got forward well which is very good to see.

We did enough to win but I don't think we were excellent by any means, can't recall Coyne making any saves but I suppose you could say we were clinical. You can't argue with 3 goals and 3 points though, Tranmere certainly gave us a better game than MK Dons and Stockport.

Couldnt agree more, one example that highlighted that was towards the end of the second half, he was release down the flank and cut into the box. He really should have looked up to see howard powering in into the other side but instead had a poor shot.

Gilbert and Dyer i thought could have done a bit more too, they both seemed very relunctant to take on players even when they foudn themselves in quite a lot of room.

It was also quite apparent that our young back line really needed a leader, Tunchev was missed. Towards then we really lost our shape and were very eratic.

Overall very pleased though, very promising how we can win game and still ahve a few areas to improve. Good times ahead :)
