General Smuts Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 Promoted from Lg1 with 9 games left to play and 2 games in hand. Won the league with 5 games to play, and 1 in hand. Finished undefeated in the league with 122 points. 38 wins and 8 draws. I think i also had a +100 goal difference as well, and if not very close too it. Already signed Keirrison, Sidnei, Tales, Bojan and Pique on frees ready for next season. May need to sell some. Surman, Robinson and Givet are prime candidates.

Promotion was down to both my strikers who in all competitions scored 97 between them: James Constable 55 in 56. Matt Green 42 in 51. And in the league notched up 82 between them. James Constable 47 in 46. Matt Green 34 in 42.

You can't overwrite the default database, therefore make sure that when you create a new game you choose the new database.

Yeah, that sounds like it could be fun! I have just started playing this again and dwnloaded a legends database. Its still WIP but decent enough - started as Liverpool, will post screenies soon!

Ozwin Posted 26 May 2009 Posted 26 May 2009 I've managed to get Rotherham into League 1 after 3 seasons. First season I had a -17 points deduction in League 2, did alright and avoided relegation. Second season I got promoted in 1st, battered the league. Now I'm coming up to the end of the 3rd season in League 1 and am 10th, trying to get playoffs, such a boring league to play in.

A game is for fun and so if you can have fun by playing it that way, then surely that's fine. If you were changing the game for your benefit in an online network game, then yes, that's cheating. However, just enhancing your game playing experience isn't.
