Manwell Pablo Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Hardly a massive suprise, he wont play again this season anyway.
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Man Utd are obviously short of cover in midfield now that Scholes is banned. This was to be expected... On a serious note, I hope he's back before too long. We need him.
Jimmy Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 'further assessment' just means they want to evaluate the injury themselves instead of us doing it, he is still officially on loan to us atm, although by this time tomorrow I expect it'll be confirmed his loan, and season, is over
dandannieldanok Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Shame, he was no Mark Davies but he'd just started to perform consistently and grow in confidence.
surrifox Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 there's nothing in the os report to suggest he won't return- wouldn't be a bad move on darren Ferguson's part to get him assessed as unfit for saturday though
Simi Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 'further assessment'just means they want to evaluate the injury themselves instead of us doing it, he is still officially on loan to us atm, although by this time tomorrow I expect it'll be confirmed his loan, and season, is over ..so he's gone back.
Jimmy Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 ..so he's gone back. for now, Liverpool will be doing the same thing with Martin's injury, we'd do the same if it was 1 of our players
Koke Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 for now, Liverpool will be doing the same thing with Martin's injury, we'd do the same if it was 1 of our players Dislocated shoulder which means he's out for the season, so I doubt he'll come back to us
Cobbo Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 I totally forgotten he'd gone off injured Yes I was this drunk also.
Webbo Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 How many games did he play? Will he qualify for a medal?
Corky Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 How many games did he play? Will he qualify for a medal? Made his debut at Yeovil, think he played a part in every game since then (I'm not sure, probably wrong). Isn't it 10 appearances for a medal?
Ultra Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 How many games did he play? Will he qualify for a medal? He made 15 appearances for us. But he won't qualify for a medal, as he never played for Peterborough..
lcfc_jme Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 I liked Cleverley when he was here. Full of energy and enthusiasm, had a lot of determination and wasn't afraid to run at players. Shame he's gone back, really. We need somebody we actually own to start doing this though, because we've been missing it massively as of late.
Munzie Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 The interview on World with Craig Shakespeare suggests that his shoulder popped out and back in again before the physio could get to him on the field. Given this, there is a possibility that he will be available for us again, possibly Saturday. If the joint popped back in okay, other than bruising and feeling a little tight, he should be okay. It's happened to me numerous times. Shakespeare did say that they were expecting further news by the end of the week.
Ultra Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 There's also the chance that the shoulder could go again. If United have any worries about him, he won't come back.
StanSP Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Feel gutted for him because he only just received his England call-up. Damn sod's law! And gutted for us as he was picking up momentum in performances and would have been key for remaining matches.
Joe. Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 There's also the chance that the shoulder could go again. If United have any worries about him, he won't come back. Always the optimist Ultra.
pooleyLCFC Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Fuller suffered a dislocated shoulder in one of stokes premier league games then he played against villa about 2 weeks later coming on as a sub after about an hour. So i wouldn't rule anything out yet !
Houdini Logic Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 I'd rather he was treated at United - no offence to the Leicester physio/recovery team but i think he'll have the best service there.
