Katy Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 Myself and Stez moved from the Kop to H block at half time and this happened just to our right. It's tremendously sad, I have heard from someone that the poor chap did pass on but obviously it's best to wait for confirmation.

EnglishOxide Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 As i was leaving by the bike rack, waiting for the lads to let us go, they were in no rush to get the ambulance going, a saw a fella on a stretcher and a few people clearly upset and crying. They let us and the cars go before the ambulance so maybe it was too late
Thracian Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 Very sad. I had a strange feeling something might set this day apart and assumed it would be the football.
Narborough_fox Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 Yh I was sitting 5-10 rows in front and it really didnt look good for the ppor guy and his families. RIP if the man has died and all my condolances go to the family.

Unknown Fox Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 Saw it from the Kop the medics were working on him for about 15 mins, so hope he did make it, but didn't look too good. Something like this really puts everything into perspective

Unknown Fox Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 He couldn't stand watching Leicester anymore Very sad news, even though he's not a former player or anything or is he i hopefully a minutes silence next home game maybe. Has it been confirmed that he has past away yet! I hope not just seeing him like that has made me feel ill all day
Dan Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 I was in the same block and it's disturbing , hope he made it (yn)
Foxes_Trust Posted 4 April 2009 Posted 4 April 2009 I just drew level with the ambulance as it started to move off, it moved extremely slowly until it got the roundabout and then immediately put it's siren's on. Not sure what the procedure is if someone hadn't survived, would they still use sirens? That said, the St John's people were gathered outside and it looked as though some "more experienced" members were comforting younger ones who looked very upset
chrisfox Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 was sitting fairly close by and it didn't look good. hope whoever it was pulled through
