Babylon Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Cool... well even if we go down this year we'll have a stunning front line!!!!
Mickey O'Neil Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Excuse my ignorance, but who is N'Guessan? Hope that wasn't a rhetorical question. A French, former Teddy Bear <_< who's a winger for Lincoln.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 If Cox and N'Guessan are coming to Leicester, what kind of line up will that mean? Something like: StockdaleMorrison Tunchev Hobbs BernerGradel King Oakley N'GuessanFryattCox ????? Or do you leave out Fryatt for Cox and Howard? Cox gives us some speed, but he's pretty short, isn't he. Where the hell is Mr Lloyd Dyer? FACT: We cannot drop Howard unless there is a similar player to him coming to the club
maddog Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Where the hell is Mr Lloyd Dyer?FACT: We cannot drop Howard unless there is a similar player to him coming to the club FACT: Howard didn't work in the Championship last season and was probably the worst performer with Fryatt. Long ball shit, no pace strikers don't work in the Championship. If we are pushing for a playoff place we need Cox and another pacy striker in the team. We have 0 pace up front currently. I think every single Leicester fan in the world would be delighted with us signing Cox. Please sign please please please.
flanimal Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Where the hell is Mr Lloyd Dyer?FACT: We cannot drop Howard unless there is a similar player to him coming to the club That's what I mean, it creates problems - albeit good problems! Surely Cox is a replacement to Fryatt, I can't think of a way the two could play in the same team when Leicester seem reluctant to ditch the long ball upfield tactic. N'Guessan, if he is a winger, is obviously going to cancel out Gradel or Dyer - unless he can be used as a target man upfront. Interesting to find out how this works (unless it's all speculation - then scew it!!!! <_< ).
MarkDeVries Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Hhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Interesting, would like it to be true but I agree with what has been said. I hope we haven't paid over the odds for him. Still, surely good news it's on Tv?
lildave3 Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Can't wait to see all your reactions when Pearson reveals him, Steve Howard and Jack Hobbs are just doing the full monty for charity.
FleckneyFox Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Could be awesome and he will fire us up near the playoffs. Or he and Fryatt could both prove that they cant cut it above League 1.
Kilworthfox Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Can anyone verify this story? Answered my own Q! Also N' Guessan
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 We need Knowitall's words of wisdom to confirm this. I don't see why he can't do a job for us. He has one thing I've not seen in years from the front men and that is pace. Pace people. It frightens championship defences. It will see us near the top. Our team needs - Physical presence. Pace. Pride. Passion. These will see us do well. If this goes through it shows we mean business. MM means business. NP means business. We won't be taken lightly next season.

Shane Posted 14 May 2009 Posted 14 May 2009 Or do you leave out Fryatt for Cox and Howard? Cox gives us some speed, but he's pretty short, isn't he. Cox according to wookipedia is 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m) Fryatt according to wookipedia is 5 ft 11 in (1.8 m) Not much difference and Cox looks like a gem.
