I've been playing this on the laptop since i've had it pretty much, and it's starting to piss me off.Thanks . I had the same problem. You need a dvd drive for your computer to read the FM disc. Your PC probably only has a cd drive. The old FM games were on cd's so you wouldn't have had this problem with any of the old games. Hope that helps

I'm playing quite well, creating tons of chances, but the opposition keep scoring long range goals or lucky rebound goals. I'm now on my thrid formation after trying an attacking 4-4-2, a classic 4-5-1 and even a 4-3-3 now, but having not played in the Premier League yet in this game, what formation has worked for others with an average Prem side?

Sods Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 Hull City 1st season - went down, such a shite team. 2nd season - went up, have the likes of riquelme and micheal owen banging them in. 3rd season - just stayed up, had 10 points from 18 games, then when you look so hard for a system. Just go basic 4-4-2 never let anyone down. Finshed in 16th, the legend that is Theo Gekas was the star. 4th season - just signed some sauzo bloke, some keeper who looks class, poulsen and aquafrescha. Ever fancy being a team where its a bit of a challenge but no real expectancy, be Hull. 1st season got 8 million, 3rd and 4th ive been given 20 million in both campaigns.

Now i'm going to see if i can rescue luton from relegation, Half way into the season (21 games gone and on -2) - i reckon i can keep them up.

Here: The 2 patch strategy involved a patch around Xmas time, that would look at any issues raised between now and then, and a patch at the end of February/early March, which would include a data update.The 3 patch strategy would be the same, but with a day one patch if a serious error, was found between the release of the demo and the game being released.

I signed him once and he was a waste of 19m, although I sold him after 2 seasons for 11m and regretted it because he got top scorer in the Prem 3 years running with West Ham.

The other fixture is Nottingham Forest v Bristol City which the Robins' will win before beating me in the play off final - it happens every 2 years!

Financially crippled. Saved with games to spare then took them to the top of the league the following season with a 100% record for the first 10 games. Mind you i tend to use the db editor to financially cripple teams i don't like. (e.g. Glasgow Rangers have gone bust 7/8 times on different versions)

Signed 10 players ( its an addiction) Including Marlon king on a free Being Leicester is pretty easy once you break away from the notion you have to play the ones who are playing well in real life...

Very few games have the luxury of such patient and loyal 'fans'
