Webbo Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 How many more times are they going to show Mo Farrah winning every , single one of his gold medals? It must be the fourth time today. It's a great achievement we know, but we don't have to re live every race.

Nalis Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 This French guy comes across as a right arrogant ****.

Nalis Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 Love Inverdale about the French fighter and his medal winning fiancee. 'Dont know if any engaged couples have ever won gold at the same games' Erm... Laura Trott and Jason Kenny???

Asking stupid questions, not knowing the most basic bits of knowledge, pissing off pundits like Redgrave.
Ross-Kemp Posted 22 August 2016 Posted 22 August 2016 He also massively disrespected AJ, can see him getting the boot after this if I'm honest. He's been horrendous.
Jattdogg Posted 22 August 2016 Posted 22 August 2016 Probably the one and only time south America will get the olympics in a long long longggg time. Way too many empty seats. Do they have enough money to run the paralympic event? I believe they had to get emergency funding of some kind to help keep the games going. Gunna be intereesting to see how many billions they blew for these games and what the site looks like 4 years from now.
foxy boxing Posted 22 August 2016 Posted 22 August 2016 sport wise it was a really good olympics especially for team GB coming second in the medal table but the empty stadiums were a real disapointment the brazilians only really cared about the football which they won so they should be happy. it was brilliant to see team GB rule the velodrome and mo getting his double. maybe instead of the host country getting the bill for staging the games all countries competing should put money in a pot to pay for the games and then we may not have the trouble with the cost for the home country

This youngman is the reality of our world, over hype costs money, and not just S.American Countries have problems. 95% of our world is in the same situation, China hid it.well, the state made sure it wouldnt fail, plus the people have little chance in any demostrations. Ask yourselve this, the GB olympic villages as it helped the poverty areas in UK/London. If we didnt have the lottery money,we wouldnt be looking too healthy either. Our govt, kept shoving the austerity card down our throats, but taking the plaudits when Gold medals were won. Electorate yapping and complaining about immigration, but shout loud c when "Mo" took another gold. S.African world cup, were there any benifits for the masses...
Raj Posted 22 August 2016 Posted 22 August 2016 As a spectacle it may be second to none, but if you take some of the decisions they stink of pure and utter corruption. Olympics played out to some near empty stadiums reaks too....just another FIFA in disguise. Just cos it's headed by our own Saint Seb no one will bat an eyelid... I say this all with a MASSIVE ALLEGED!!!

No real Zika problems and all events happened fairly smoothly, which I didn't expect. Sounds like this has all come at the expense of a good Paralympics though which is a shame.

You're wrong my friend. Laughably wrong.

I dont think we know the extent of zika problems until people go back home and start making babies (or get tested before trying to make babies). I suspect in the future we wont be seeing as many nations bidding for games. Costs are out of control. They need to cut down on the number of events and stick to the sports that are cheaper to run.

I refuse to believe you have any sailing knowledge at all I have next to none and even I know it's a pointless sport to comment on until it's at least halfway through. Bet you watch sailing all the time, glued to Eurosport every world championships I would imagine
