purpleronnie Posted 19 August 2016 Posted 19 August 2016 Another great gold. Tried to watch the womens football final but something must be wrong with my Tele, looked like it was in slow motion.
Finnegan Posted 19 August 2016 Posted 19 August 2016 Know nothing about hockey but enjoyed that. Skills of the Dutch players ****ing insane. GB keeper just unbelievable though.

Think they won it before but it's a close one between you guys and them! Maybe shared? Bet they give to the Olympics team just to please the non-football fans who have been giving football a right old hammering simply based on the fact England did rubbish in the Euros (which they did of course!) They won't relate to what you guys achieved - just be seen as another "over paid bunch of chavs"
Jattdogg Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 bolt and jamaica win 4x100. Japanese takes 2nd usa 3rd... but usa got dq'd for passing the baton outside of the exchange zone. My canada get bronze so happy about that. Degrasse is potentially the future of the 100m. Fast kid and killed that anchor leg. Bolt signs off on top. Absolute pleasure watching that freak run.

shawy2510 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Unlucky in the taekwando, should have got gold with 1 second to go he got kicked in the head the make him lose.
Tielemans63 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 I see the GB men's 4x 400 metre team have been disqualified for 'unspecified reasons' and have no right to appeal. Despite the fact that no one is quite sure what they did wrong. In other purely coincidental news, GB's disqualification means that the 8th fastest team get to contest the final...and that is Brazil.

Dare I ask..?? Seen some other teams get disqualified as well.I Watched replays of a few. With no right for appeal, Are judges being tempted.... Look if its downright obvious, I would have no complaints, but all these relay runners efforts also from other teams are being insulted and ruined by questionable Judges call..!!!! And the no right to appeal rule...stinks

I'm only be realistic seeing as it's an Olympic year. Do you really think we'll win SPOTY team of the year? Bearing in mind we won the league 'last' season, I wonder if we'd still get the vote if the unthinkable happens and we're in the relegation places by December when the awards take place?

Not sure what on earth he was doing at the end, must be a difficult one to come to terms with. As for the relay I said to my mate we always get at least one DQ so wasn't surprised but the fact that they don't know what they did wrong is a bit weird. Hoping for 2 golds in the boxing and MO of course. Win 3 golds there and we should finish 2nd. EDIT! AND ANOTHER GOLD!!!!!! KAYAK!!!
foxy boxing Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Great win and gold medal for the women's hockey team, fantastic penalties and saves and can show the men's football team how it is done

Completely different kind of penalties, completely different kind of goalkeeping and there was only 2 scored from 9

foxes_rule1978 Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Daley out at the semi final stage that is a shock... completely bottled it

In the dutch semi final half the penalties were scored and the Dutch themselves scored 4 from 7.
