Bugg Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 The referee was an absolute disgrace as well, it had little bearing in the end but he was SO BIASED it was disgusting. And his decision not to award the first penalty - words fail me. I agree that the referee was absolutely shit, I understand he gave the second penalty shout because he felt guilty about the first one i think, but at the time we should of had a penalty we were 3-0 down, i think that if we got that penalty, we may not have won but we may have got more confidence and tried to play better. I am dissapointed with the loss and thought we were going to lose today, but the referee seemed to aid the thrashing that we deserved.

Shocking that we managed to concede 5 goals in 1 game having only ever conceded 3 in a game once at Watford this season but scoring 3 aswell. I'm just tired after been at work all day and couldn't be bothered to read through and thought if i asked a few questions having not been or listened to the game i would get a polite answer off someone. Just as we got back to the station the sirens started wailing and a load of rozzers hot footed it off in the direction of the ground.

It isn't the fact we were outclassed, it's the way in which we let them just walk all over us. And all the pricks saying that Pearson should go after a bad result should see what clowns they look saying it, just think of all the shit he got rid of in the club and also how he got us to bounce back after a heartbreaking relegation 2 years ago. I didn't understand Pearson's substitutions and found them a bit daft but I'm not going to start calling for his head. Hopefully we can bounce back by dominating Bristol City on tuesday.
Dr The Singh Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Why did gazzer get arrested? there was a guy we were talkin to to, who just happened to be some sort of major head of the anti fascist league member, all of a sudden a group of the english defence league turn and approach him. me and gazzer went to look to the police as the guy was gonna get battered, all gazzer said was are you effin gonna do something, cus the feds looked uninterested and the women fed, booked him for swearing and barred both of us under some shitty act, i said fook all, just because i was with him i got shitted on. me and gazzer tried to catch another train, we got caught and he got arrested and i got booked. gazzer got cautioned, but they arrested him because he called the women officer a bitch, which is totally untrue. the feds just took the piss..........im so fooked off!! Just cus gazzer said one thing, which wasnt really out of turn, we both got fooked!! I said fook all except as whats going on!!

frozenfox Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Bad today and lets face it nearly all season we've been a team of 2 halves,many matches we should have had net fulls but manage to survive by a goal its perfectly clear we need a striker,at the back brown and hobbs are great tacklers but lack pace,on the wings some say dyer is not good enough but through out a game he'll create more than someone playing outta position and on the opposite side and by all accounts gradel is playin well and should be brought back.Unfortunatly id say its time for the likes of howard and possibly oakley but im not sure what to make of fryatt he has good footwork and a great footballing brain and also has a strike rate of a goal every 2 games but some of the chances missed alarms me. On the pearson front hes still doing a sound job but this tinkering from time to time with the formation puzzles me,i think were most settled playing 4-4-2 and thats how he should keep it!3 or 4 good signings in january would in my oppinion secure a top half finish.

Would have to be against Forest wouldn't it, who did look like a good team tbf. Better team (on the day) won easily. Brown, Berner and Howard were shit. Fryatt looked seriously disinterested, and shit, today as well. Waghorn looked like the only one who gave a toss, and the only one that can come out with any credit, and hes most likely going back in January! We were bound to lose some this season, just didn't expect to lose this heavily, but its all about what you learn from the losses and how you react in the next few games. Massive game on Tuesday now. Bring on Bristol.

Small strikers against two powerhouse centre-halves? No wingers again? Robbie Neilson?Forest were, as much as it pains me to say, fucking phenomenal today, but we were equally as diabolical. No fight, no passion, no desire. How the fuck we went out for a local derby and weren't fired up / didn't give a shit I'll never know. That is criminal and, as much as you can blame the players, that's also largely down to the manager. I like Pearson, but if he does not learn anything at all from last week and especially today, then he's never going to advance his career and progress to the next level. Our formation was wrong, our selection was wrong, we might as well just not have bothered turning up today. I really, sincerely couldn't believe what I was watching. The referee was an absolute disgrace as well, it had little bearing in the end but he was SO BIASED it was disgusting. And his decision not to award the first penalty - words fail me. That loss today, and the performance to boot, hurt me. Big time. I'd put it on a par with my feelings after Stoke away 2 seasons back. Hideous. Absolutely fucking disgusted tonight, disgusted, depressed and drinking. Heavily.

Earnshaw's third is amazing for all the wrong reasons - I think Wayne Brown actually ran away from Earnshaw quicker than he was advancing. I don't think I've ever seen that before. If Brown had a tail it would have been between his legs.

Matt Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Just got in after a day on the ale for the wrong reasons post match, got a banging headache now though, as for the match - What match? There we to 11 men in blue and 11 men in red on the pitch but the 11 in blue were not match for the team in red, Awful, not much else to add. But holding onto the glimmer of hope it might have a huge impact and kick up the backside, the pessimist in me has been saying for the last 3 weeks this was coming, I have been saying we were going to get a hammering soon, on the counter arguement its about time we battered someone with a big score result. Its going to be a long wait to Tuesday night now, and I now expect no less that 6 points out of the next 2 games. Somehow we are still in the top 6, not only that, we're 4th somehow.
