Finnegan Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 He isn't made up, I have played against him on Football Manager before. Dear me.
RowlattsFox Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 Looked a decent defensive midfielder on the few occasions I've seen him play for Charlton.
StanSP Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 Whats wrong with that? You can get made up players on Football Manager. And you are basing your knowledge on a computer game.
Ricey Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 You can get made up players on Football Manager. And you are basing your knowledge on a computer game. It's not just a game!!!!!!!
Finnegan Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 You can get made up players on Football Manager. And you are basing your knowledge on a computer game. that and the fact that he's blatantly a real player and even if you weren't sure you could just google the bastard.
foxer Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 I've signed him before on footy man. He put in some sterling performances. This of course proves and means nothing.
Daggers Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 It's not just a game!!!!!!! Indeed. Otherwise my career of toilet-based interviews has all been for nothing.

Legend_in_blue Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 He aint made up ive seen him a few times n he is a good player . Was on tv v Northwich not long ago if any1 watched that game With due respect, you would expect the majority of professional footballers to look good against the likes of Northwich.
MPH Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 so does ANYONE know ANYTHING about him? EDIT: his middle name is Nobert. Nobby it is then!
lou Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 so does ANYONE know ANYTHING about him? Im waiting for Flanimal to appear and turn this into a 23 page thread.....
maddog Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 He hasn't scored a single goal all season for Charlton and they've been scoring for fun. So unless he's set a load up no thanks O deary me, he's started 18 games for Charlton in the League this season and only has 1 assist. No goals, 1 assist in 18 League games for a side scoring a lot, no thanks. Although he may have assisted the assistor a lot.

maddog Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 well... someone mentioned he is a defensive midfielder... if he is sitting back and doing a good job of it then maybe that would explain why everyone else is setting them up and scoring? just a thought... Possibly but 18 games 1 assist, they've scored a lot of goals, surely if he's a 'midfield star' he should have a lot more. Although i've fell out of love with Wellens now, Oakley pisses me off and i think King's invisible, so perhaps this guy may improve our midfield.

I know, did nothing of any note on Saturday. Was he playing?
Finnegan Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 Indeed. Otherwise my career of toilet-based interviews has all been for nothing. Delighted I'm not the only one. Do you give your laptop team talks, too?
maddog Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 I know, did nothing of any note on Saturday. Was he playing? Yes i do know he scored 2 Saturday I still think he's invisible though, apart from Saturday, and if we did have a better midfielder then King would probably be the first one to be dropped out of the 3.
MPH Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 bit of digging... Skysports.com understands that Charlton star Therry Racon is attracting Premier League interest. The highly-rated Frenchman has been in excellent form for the Addicks this term, along with midfield colleagues Nicky Bailey and Jonjo Shelvey. Both Bailey and Shelvey attracted substantial interest in the summer and now Racon is gaining a number of admirers. Skysports.com understands Fulham, Blackburn, West Ham and Portsmouth are all keen on the 25-year-old. Racon, who began his career with Italian giants AC Milan, is also attracting scouts from a number of Championship clubs. Racon would be a big blow if we lost him despite us having strong midfield cover, he is still a vital part of the team although I'm a bit surprised to see so much of a premiership interest in him. would be a shame to lose Racon, but i don't think it would have a massive impact Strangely, I thought Racon was alot more effective for us last season! He was getting forward well, chipping in with a few goals, and basically taking games by the scruff of the neck.I don't think he's even scored yet this season(?)and hes performances certainly aint been at the same high standard. so I'm also a bit surprised at the interest in him. Saying that, he has got alot of class about him and hopefully he's saving his best form for our run in, so I wouldnt wanna see him leave. ...and he started at AC Milan? go on Therry, rolling with Kaka! On the contrary, letting Racon go would be a huge mistake, he is off form at the moment but is only one of a few premiership quality we have at the Valley (Elliot being the only other one). Racon has the ability to change games with his skill. If he had to go I would want £5m. The same for the rest of our 1st teamers. Wouldn't say Racon is quite Prem quality but still ::He has the ability but ain't been showing it this season but hes another player that if he went to another club you know he'd shine. all quotes from addickted.net
