StanSP Posted 24 December 2009 Posted 24 December 2009 United have scored seven goals in the last five minutes of games this season - more than any other team in the division - and Leicester have scored five goals in injury time. If we're winning we'll have no nails left
PAULCFC Posted 24 December 2009 Posted 24 December 2009 Six o clock start on boxing day!Won't remember how i got to the Walkers, nevermind the game!
Gaffer Posted 25 December 2009 Posted 25 December 2009 Does anyone know what time the ticket office opens tomorrow? Need to get a ticket before going to some boxing day sales
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 December 2009 Posted 25 December 2009 Should be a good game. They are on form and even though we have bee poor we should still be hard to beat. Reckon it will be an excitingh game, they take the lead and as both teams score late goals there has to be one with Howard getting it in the 93rd minute for us. Would take 1-0 though and dont normally say that due to our shite goals scored totals.
sam_lcfc Posted 25 December 2009 Posted 25 December 2009 Merry Christmas all.... I am [stupidly] going up to Liverpool tomorrow to see the Grandparents which is probably going to clash with the game on Sky...but I have an Iphone! Is it more likely to be able to get online streaming of this game if its on sky or is just pot luck? Thanks all... Oh and a 1-1 draw with a last minute equaliser for somebody is my prediction (given the late goal stats do not leave early!)
AmericanScott Posted 25 December 2009 Posted 25 December 2009 Girlfriend got me tickets to the game. Bastards have gone and reduced the ticket price after she got them!! Tomorrow shall be hell though. Got to open the shop up with a hangover and deal with an ass load of returns first thing. Come on City give Scotty something to smile about
easilee Posted 25 December 2009 Posted 25 December 2009 Got a bad feeling about this one. We are nearly always crap on Boxing day. And we are nearly always crap when we don't kick off at 3pm on a Saturday. Heart says 1-0 City, head says 1-0 sheff
Corky Posted 25 December 2009 Posted 25 December 2009 Let's hope it's slightly more entertaining than their last visit- a dour 1-0 defeat under Megson.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 I might be going to this. Crikey.
Jordan Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 I'm going down to watch the game on TV at a bar where I've watch City play at least a dozen times yet have not seen them win. So, if Leicester fail to take three points, you know who to blame. But I've got a feeling... ...a feeling that this + an ugly Christmas sweater party chez moi later that night = a long night and a rough Sunday morning. But seriously, I don't think there's any excuse for Leicester to play sloppily tomorrow. They've been off for two weeks, not two months, and besides, a little time off at this busy time of the year might not be such a bad thing. Leicester have no real injury worries, maybe Howard will be feeling a bit more up for it now that he's bagged his first goal, and if the back line can't get it sorted after plenty of time for introspection, then they've got a real problem. I think Leicester will be ready for a battle--there will be plenty of long balls but chances at either end. 1-1.

Missed the Reading and QPR games and they have al been 0-0 or defeats otherwise.
Jordan Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 Jeez. I haven't seen them score a goal for ages. Missed the Reading and QPR games and they have al been 0-0 or defeats otherwise. I missed those two, too and of course I missed Leicester 4-0 Leeds back in '03!
placidcasual Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 I missed those two, too and of course I missed Leicester 4-0 Leeds back in '03! I am taking my 3 year old down the boozer with me. He will have his shirt, scarf and hat on. There is also a Leicester shirt hanging up in there.
Messi Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 Don't forget the old boys. Who haven't been to an LCFC match since the 1960's. And all they do is slag the players off, even when we score. At the Sheffield Wednesday game, when King scored his first, some bloke was saying, "HES SH*T ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME, THE LAD DOESN'T DESERVE A GOAL"Er? Sit down shut up? Where do you sit by any chance? I had somebody next to me all match slating King calling him shit saying he dont know how to play football etc, i was getting pretty pissed off.. Where had he been all of last season and the majority of this season cause i feel King has been playing well! Hopefully NP will stick with the same team today, im going for a 2-1 home win
jonthefox Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 im going to go with 3-0 citeh. why not, its still crimbo.

Ford Super Sunday Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 Actually, I posted a link in the stream topic. It might be worth getting this one stored and ready, because I use it a lot, and it's brilliant. http://www.vshare.tv/live/42157/SS1
Joe. Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 Would be brilliant to get a win today, although I never fancy playing Sheffield United to be honest. They've been a tough Championship side for a long time now and are playing pretty well themselves at this stage. That said we should have taken three points from Bramall Lane, so a win ius well within our capabilities. Hoping for a Howard Fryatt strike partnership personally, and we might get somewhere if both are on the money today.
Bert Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 We won't win. Chris Morgan will be at the heart of something controversial.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 Got a feeling this has DRAW written all over it. Could see us pinch it IF the defence are ontop of their game.
Fox92 Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 I've just thought: Richard Creswell plays for them doesn't he? He's bound to score
MPH Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 i think this will see a solitary strike by Dany N'Guessan, coming on as a sub to nick a tight game approaching injury time....
MikeyT Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 i think this will see a solitary strike by Dany N'Guessan, coming on as a sub to nick a tight game approaching injury time.... I'd settle for that.
MPH Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 Cardiff beaten, Newcastle and Forest Held to a draw... good scores for us today...
Ford Super Sunday Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 Cardiff beaten, Newcastle and Forest Held to a draw... good scores for us today... Cursed it
