Daggers Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 No one is wittier than the Tories themselves: Mr Benson, a Conservative councillor, said: "The problem with Colne is that there are too many takeaways. And too many Pakis, that's why people don't come to Colne."
Thracian Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 I'll Give It To You Straight. Conservative Blue Party After The Pain of Labour? Ignore The Rest cos Straight Is Best!
Finnegan Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 I'll Give It To You Straight.Conservative Blue Party After The Pain of Labour? Ignore The Rest cos Straight Is Best! Wow, fantastic, you managed to make that sound like homophobic propaganda without even trying! Don't you vote BNP anyway? It would strike me as odd that you're so staunchly anti-New Labour yet you'd vote Conservative? I mean they're basically the same party. If you consider New Labour to be some sort of far-left socialist crackpots then I'd hate to think what you make of the actual SLP.
Webbo Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 anti-New Labour yet you'd vote Conservative? I mean they're basically the same party. So you'd have no problem voting tory then?
jonthefox Posted 21 January 2010 Posted 21 January 2010 heres one http://www.andybarefoot.com/politics/cameron.php

Houdini Logic Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 A witty quote is not a sign of intelligence
Thracian Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 a) Wow, fantastic, you managed to make that sound like homophobic propaganda without even trying!b) Don't you vote BNP anyway? c) It would strike me as odd that you're so staunchly anti-New Labour yet you'd vote Conservative? I mean they're basically the same party. If you consider New Labour to be some sort of far-left socialist crackpots then I'd hate to think what you make of the actual SLP. a) Quite how, I'm not sure. But then you've never been one for letting reality hinder a viewpoint. b) Do I? If that's an example of your analytical abilities it's little wonder I mock your political stance. c) So now I get two votes! You defy belief at times. It would perhaps be worth arguing politics with you but you strike me as someone so brainwashed by socialist idealism that you'd vote for em even if Harriet Harman proposed slaying all male children for the next 10 years (which perhaps isn't so far fetched given her ideas on equality). If New Labour had any class they'd acknowledge the untold mess they've made of this country - particularly certain sections - and graciously allow someone else to at least try to start healing the wounds. They won't. Like you, they'll keep waving the red flag like it's a bit of celebratory bunting and shouting any bullshit that comes into their heads in an effort to to kid any whose gullible enough to trust them again. For the record I've never voted BNP and cannot remember the last time I voted Conservative. One day, given the chance I may vote for someone I respect and who, either themselves or through their party, reasonably reflects my views. And seeing as there doesn't seem to be anyone I'm damned if I'll be a hypocrite and vote for some compromise candidate. Sadly for our nation I believe lots of people feel the same way - and in many cases they seem to have similar views to my own - at least to a fairly significant degree . But since when have self-serving politicians seen fit acted according to the views of the population? By their own admission they've scandalously deceived them in various ways or, more pertinently, whenever it suits them or whenever their view differs from the consensus. Referendums, expenses, employment, immigration, jobs creation, crime etc, etc....there's not an appeth of sincerity in anything they say or publish about them. Labour's only hope is that the cesspit of Left wingers that is the BBC relishes a war with The Sun to show who can influence an election more greatly. May something or someone protect us from its radical ex-University bods whose brains might be sharp but whose wisdom seems so sadly lacking. Cos anyone who would willingly advocate a further dose of Labour government is either to be pitied or is working for some other undeclared interest. Spend three months on Leicester market talking to people Finn and looking around you. You'll know and you'll see exactly what a shitheap of despair this country has become.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 b) Do I? If that's an example of your analytical abilities it's little wonder I mock your political stance. Finners votes Plaid Cymru doesn't he?
Thracian Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Finners votes Plaid Cymru doesn't he? Your point being?
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Man. If I had a penny for everytime someone said that to me, I'd have enough money for a cup of coffee. Seriously.
stez Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 i'm far to witty to have to prove it. my ones would be far better than any we've seen yet. believe me.
BoneDog Posted 22 January 2010 Posted 22 January 2010 Not witty in the slightest but I think these two posters are honest
