Ultra - Leicester's Lord Mayor

I still find the whole concept of Ultra as Mayor of Leicester completely farcical.

His indiscretions and general twattery used to be limited to pissing a few people off / getting ridiculed on here but now it's actually happening in the real world.

It's not his comments that are the problem it's using the Mayoral office as a vehicle to publish them, hardly what you expect from the City of Leicester's foremost Ambassadorial position. He has an outlet on here as Ultra to say those things. I'd have thought if was that upset about how LCFC is being run, and aren't we all then a more diplomatic approach to find out the state of play, with regards to the take over and it's possible affect on Sousa and the results would have been more acceptable.

But then what do I know I don't even live in the City so I'm not eligible to offer an opinion.

Theres a reason for this and I've suprised you've managed to miss it over the last 6 years.

It's because he is a massive willy puller.

The response from the club is a bit knee-jerk and ironically something of a cheap shot in itself, but slagging off the club that you and thousands of the people you represent so publicly is hardly the best idea.

It's bang on the money, he is a struggling politician (and a massive willy puller) and he's got what he's deserved for opening his trap.

In that picture it only shows the top half of his body, but you look at his face you can tell he's droppped his trousers again!!! Dirty, dirty man!!!

The club have refrained from mentioning this, which is an opportunity missed to my mind.

I still think Ultra is perhaps the greatest mayor that anywhere has had, ever. Mind you, I probably have different criteria for selecting civic leaders than most councils

I don't know, I think your criteria likely matches one of our big, Southern cities...

Exactly. He posted a reaction to City's performance moments after the final whistle. He was then given a chance to review those comments after he had calmed down and still didn't. Surely a good politician in a position such as hisswould have reflected on those comments and watered them down at least, instead he refuses. No wonder the Club responded as they did.

Seems to me that he's telling it as he sees it. There's plenty on here who would agree with him as well!!

The club spokesman had Ultra's pants down.

Exactly what I thought, he's getting slagged off for nonchalantly tweeting his opinion as a football fan, an opinion which 95% of the people on here agree with anyway. Puzzling.

Which is fine if he is an average football fan.

For an ambassador of the city to come out and make comments like that which are obviously going to leak their way into the media? Ridiculously unprofessional and obviously not going to help anyone.
