Leicfox Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 DJ was on the score sheet tonight for Blackpool against Boro' in a 2-0 win.
Edmund Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 DJ was on the score sheet tonight for Blackpool against Boro' in a 2-0 win. Why does that not surprise me
dandannieldanok Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 DJ scored............may as well hand Blackpool that play-off place, Pearson should resign over this.
Edmund Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 DJ scored............may as well hand Blackpool that play-off place, Pearson should resign over this. Now now dan, I was just stating that it doesn't surprise me he's scored. No need for the over reaction. It seems a players ability seems to anger you. Strange.
dandannieldanok Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 It seems a players ability seems to anger you. Strange. I know it does you're right... I'm furious we've let him go, you were right, that one goal he scored tonight will cost us big time. We've only scored 6 in our last 2 games, positively paltry.
Tony Pine Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 hopefully he scores a few more so they take the disabled off us
Nick Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 hopefully he scores a few more so they take the disabled of us Just seen the goal on SSN - nothing particularly special.....
caz05 Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Just seen the goal on SSN - nothing particularly special..... Did you see him kiss the badge to the fans,he obviously wants to be there so good riddance. Just need to get rid of his wages now He ran to the crowd and kissed the badge... You beat me too it
CosbehFox Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 If he was willing to take the wage cut in the summer, he could have been kissing it all season but he wants the dough. I see Gradel's having a great time of it at Leeds. Lost, sub again, can't dislodge either McSheffrey or Snodgrass.

CosbehFox Posted 17 February 2010 Posted 17 February 2010 Shocking. I am always giving large chunks of my salary back to my employer. Doesn't everybody? Uncomparable to a normal occupation. He's made more than enough money in his career to take a pay cut and get more job satisifaction.
Samilktray Posted 17 February 2010 Posted 17 February 2010 Asif anyone would take a paycut in DJ's position.
Babylon Posted 17 February 2010 Posted 17 February 2010 Asif anyone would take a paycut in DJ's position. Maybe, but he obviously wants to move. He wouldn't be going around moaning about us constantly and they saying he was misquoted, or badge kissing otherwise. If he wants to leave so badly take the pay cut and f*** off. If you aren't prepared to make that sacrifice to get what you want, shut up and get on with the job you are paid for. He's just being a cock hoping we pay up his contract ad let him move on.
Tilley Posted 18 February 2010 Posted 18 February 2010 Asif anyone would take a paycut in DJ's position. I know mate. He's getting paid the same and still playing football, I bet a loan suits him fine. Not a single person would take the pay cut, should be blaming Milan for putting him on the contract in the first place, not DJ.
MC Prussian Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 I just hope the club, DJ Campbell or both can end this saga once this season's over. With all this past history, he'd better make his mind up leaving this club for good. I don't want to imagine him sitting out his contract and playing at other club(s) on loan for the rest of the 2010/11 season whilst still getting paid by LCFC. Unless Pearson has a plan for next season in case Howard, who's hardly gotten a chance in this team and looks a bit past it, should leave in the summer.

Agreed, he should certainly be more professional about it.

Don't be a fool, he isn't Didier Drogba, he was in non-league a few years ago, and his earning potential will be sod all in another years. He will and should do everything he can to secure his and his family's financial future.

He will and should do everything he can to secure his and his family's financial future. and he's reportedly earning 20k a week - many times more than most people earn in a year - yet these "most people" can provide for their families just fine.
Joe. Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 and he's reportedly earning 20k a week - many times more than most people earn in a year - yet these "most people" can provide for their families just fine. That's not really the point though is it? In a world like football where they can earn a hell of a lot more than your average man on the street, they're not going to settle for "pittance" easily. And compared to what DJ's on here (where the blame lies entirely at the feet of Allen and Mandaric), he'd earn absolutely nowhere near that at Blackpool, who have wanted him on a permanent for a long time now. For him he's happy to be playing first team football on loan with Championship clubs and getting paid the same. It's frustrating I know, but most people would do exactly the same in his position. He's probably one of the highest earners in the division right now, and he knows he's not good enough to get the same anywhere else at the moment.
lou Posted 19 February 2010 Posted 19 February 2010 and he's reportedly earning 20k a week - many times more than most people earn in a year - yet these "most people" can provide for their families just fine. £23k a week
Edmund Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 Another one bites the dust. SOSBAN MATE, SOSBAN MATE.
Stevosevic Posted 20 February 2010 Posted 20 February 2010 We'll end up missing out on the play-offs because of DJ's goals for Blackpool.
