Thracian Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Alan Sheehan could be forgiven for sporting a wry grin. When Simon Grayson arrived and so promptly decided Sheehan was surplus to his requirements Leeds were riding high and looking certain for promotion while Swindon were flirting with potential relegation. How ironic that Sheehan's arrival at Swindon coincided with a resurgence which has now taken them above faltering Leeds and into second spot. It's about now that the Irishman usually gets injured or sent off and dream fades.... But we'll see!
Corky Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 And the relevance to Leicester City is? Both are club legends
Bryn Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Way to dispel the rumours that your approach to posting now is quality over quantity.
Brainy Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 So Swindon's resurgence is all down to the signing of a left back?
AJF Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 And the relevance to Leicester City is? Isn't this the 'General Football and Sport' section? Why does it need to be relevant to Leicester?
Brainy Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 I think its probably been moved from the LCFC forum to this forum.

No idea where you get your information other than your self fulfilling brain but Swindon were 7th when Sheehan joined them. Dangerously close to the relegation zone. Infact, an article at the time of the move is named 'Sheehan joins high-flying Robins'
Samilktray Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Wasnt Charlie Austin signed from a non league side? Hes done well for himself this season.
MC Prussian Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Sheehan did in fact assist on Tranmere's own goal. Now THAT takes some skill.
CosbehFox Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Wasnt Charlie Austin signed from a non league side? Hes done well for himself this season. Poole Town last season. 17 for the season and this time last year he was stood next to a cement mixer for four days of the week.
Flynny Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Leeds' demise since Christmas is probably definitely maybe certainly due to the loss of their 3rd choice left-back though, lets be honest.
Koke Posted 6 April 2010 Posted 6 April 2010 Poole Town last season. 17 for the season and this time last year he was stood next to a cement mixer for four days of the week. I love personal success stories like that. Well done that boy.
Lillehamring Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 right or wrong, this thread is valid if onlt to emphasise the fact that leeds are going to fook it up again :w00t:
AyewJoking Posted 7 April 2010 Posted 7 April 2010 I'll agree we probably shouldnt have sold Sheehan.
CosbehFox Posted 9 April 2010 Posted 9 April 2010 Sheehan is bob Who knows next season he may put on a Dale shirt....but I can not see it whilst Tom Kennedy keeps that left-back spot.
ozleicester Posted 11 April 2010 Posted 11 April 2010 Recall Sheehan.... i fear he will derail our promotion push
