I wonder how many people think that the 3rd car turning left is to blame (apart from obviously, like everyone else in the picture, being on the wrong side of the road), but watch it a few times. When he starts to turn the bike is barely in front of the car coming the opposite way (which doesn't even reach the turning point by the time the GIF is finished.) It could be that the car was travelling slowly (which would mean the truck, which was also is line is crawling!) but my guess is the bike was travelling way too fast.

Take a screen shot when he starts to turn. The bike is already almost at the white lines of the junction. He should have seen him surely.
