Rocky Dennis Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 Literally cant beleive this! Here's your scapegoat everyone. What a TW@T Looks like another dragging through the mud for the club then
Mee Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 Is this is true then what the heck was WB thinking? If he even thinks that another player may be slightly offended by what he said then why did he say it in the first place? The mind boggles :S
iancognito Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 What an absolute knobsack. Even if you vote BNP, you don't admit it to your work mates and certainly not a few days before the biggest games of the season. You wouldn't even admit casual agreement with any of their policies.
Narborough_fox Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 Skysports.com understands Leicester's play-off preparations were rocked by a row involving several members of the squad.A heated row is believed to have occured last Friday just 48 hours before the first leg of the play-off defeat to Cardiff. The argument was sparked over an inappropriate comment made by one of the Foxes players to his team-mates. It is believed Foxes boss Nigel Pearson was made aware of the row and he held a meeting to discuss the incident with those involved on the Saturday before the Cardiff game. Leicester went on to lose the first leg 1-0 on Sunday before going out on Wednesday on penalties after a dramatic second leg in Cardiff. Leicester have so far refused to comment on the rumours and it remains to be seen if they will take any action against the players involved in the incident
Jon the Hat Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 Might just be because he's a skinhead? And from Barking...
Narborough_fox Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 nice little scapegoat...let's list them now then! Brown Kermogant Bad refereeing! Now in all seriousness seems bad and hope this doesn't effect the squad to much!
LoughboroughFox Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 i voted BNP you going to kick me off these boards????
CKB Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 I think it shows from the Cardiff game on Wednesday things have been sorted, players wise... Now it's obviously what happens next with Brown and whether he offers a full apology or is shipped out, if racism has been involved he has to go simple as
Koke Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 i voted BNP you going to kick me off these boards???? Doubt Brown got in hot water purely for voting BNP.. There has to be other things that went on that got him in the situation he's in.
CKB Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 All speculation what i am about to say but if there was a racist remark, hell Dyer and co probs went for him and others had to break it up
Salieri Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 What's apparently been said is out of order. So what has 'apparently' been said?
howsyourfather Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 I'm pretty much split over this whole thing, i think it's bad that wayne could lose his job because of his choice of political vote. At the end of the day the bnp is an official political party and despite what the media tells us, non racists do vote for the bnp, i myself know a black lad who votes for them. it all comes down to what wayne actually said, if he made an offensive comment then i think the best thing to do would be to part ways with him because it would only be detrimental to our squad and club, i don't care what colour a player is but if his comments stop us from getting a very talented purple player i'll be very pissed off. If Dyer kicked off just because he voted bnp then i think it's wrong. I can't imagine steve howard and chris weale going toe to toe because one voted labour and the other tory (i'll let you decide who voted for who)

Jordan Posted 14 May 2010 Posted 14 May 2010 Wayne must have found out that we're looking at Oguchi Onyewu and thought voting BNP was the best way of retaining his starting spot. Why he'd tell everyone I have no idea. Gonna hit that post up on the reputation count--a man can dream...
yag101 Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 This is the story, according to the Daily Mail... Just thought I should pull this article out of their arses as another option.
eaststandtom Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 what a **** if true! i like him as a player but if there is something in it time for him to do one!
Guest Bilo Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 I think there's only one way to see whether Brown is racist.
Fox92 Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Just read on an website, telegraph I think it was, that Brown had a big bust up with Dyer and Powell after voting BNP or something. I would have thought that footballers would have rised above this kind of thing but I suppose it depends on what actually went on - whether Brown made a racist remark or something. Hope this didn't in anyway affect the performance in the playoffs. May be sold?
DeclanMC Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 Will add my 2 cents if anyone cares. I think some people are sort of saying that Dyer, Powell and Vaughan should have risen above it, but I don't think they should. Voting BNP is a democratic choice, and he shouldn't be slated for casting his vote (even if for a nothing party). However the real issue is the values that the BNP hold are undeniably racist and if Wayne Brown felt that he shared some of those beliefs, e.g. in immigrant repatriation, a return to institutional racism, I can wholeheartedly see why they should have had an issue. Chris Powell is of the age where he experienced widespread racism in football when he first started out and he has first hand knowledge of the harm it can do to the game. Think about it in a workplace situation, where if you started mouthing off racist comments, expect to be sacked. I cannot understand why Wayne Brown would choose to air these views in a club that has been involved intricately in many football anti-racism campaigns, and him with the role of vice captain, how would you feel as a black person being led (or managed) by a person who holds these oppressive views
