Edmund Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Perhaps they got it from the same place they got the £25 mill you were said to be buying the club for - remember that? In fact some people still believe it!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Nice if you believe it Ric, but no matter how hard I try I just can't trust the guy. To me this just says not enough cash has been put on the table which in itself is not a problem as I recognise he's a businessman first and an LCFC last. It's all his double talk and smoke-screening I don't like which he's been doing since he first appeared on the LCFC horizon. I trust Milan 100%. He will not sell us down the river, but make sure we DO, get the right people coming into the club. :scarf:
Rich Fox Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Why would he be bothered about making money at 71 years of age or whatever he is because he will be dead in a few years time and cant do much with his money then.

Matt Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Milan get of your high horse, Stop being stubborn and fuck off out of 'our' football club. Ducks for cover - Ready for a torrent of abuse from certain people
C-man Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Milan get of your high horse, Stop being stubborn and fuck off out of 'our' football club. Ducks for cover - Ready for a torrent of abuse from certain people Yeah Milan just sell up to anybody. Doesn't matter if they don't have enough cash, leave you in the red or want to use the club as a plaything, just get out of our club.
Matt Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Yeah Milan just sell up to anybody. Doesn't matter if they don't have enough cash, leave you in the red or want to use the club as a plaything, just get out of our club. TBH I find it hard to believe or trust any investors - Certainly not local ones. Likelyhood is we're going to be sold to foreign investors, So as I said when this seemed to be going somewhere I do worry about new people coming in but i'm extremly worried with Mad Mandy at the helm so why not take the plunge now, these seem as good as any and it's going to happen sooner or later - In that I mean we don't get told sweet F.A anyway so anyone seems as good as any to us. They clearly have more money to start out as Milan as Milan bought the club for pittance and is blatently going to make pretty big profit (Compared to what he bought for) due to a sale - The problem then and questions I have to ask is Milan's asking price will be high (I'd imagine) therefore how much would be left to be sold on players. Just strikes me Milan could fall out with his own shadow and i'm sick of it and want him out of the club as I keep saying. Don't trust a word he's saying.
Edmund Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 The problem then and questions I have to ask is Milan's asking price will be high (I'd imagine) therefore how much would be left to be sold on players. Currently on ebay at 9,000,000 and roughly 4,243,876 left for players.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 Mandaric is waiting for a half price listing day to bang us on eBay.
Mack Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 I am still totally lost as to what Mandaric has done wrong.
Unit Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 I am still totally lost as to what Mandaric has done wrong. He kicked my dog in western park last week.
Fosse Boy Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 I am still totally lost as to what Mandaric has done wrong. He's very questionable when it comes to his temperament and how he involves himself with on the ptich affairs. Obviously his run ins with HMRC and the rozzers have also shown he's not altogether on the straight and narrow too. That said though, for a foreign investor in the English game he is a genuine football man compared to most (Randy Lerner excepted possibly) who knows the game and understands how it works. Far rather him than an unknown Asian playboy with billions to splash but only a passing interest in the sport.
Unit Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 I just found something nice out, callum best's middle name is Milan after our man as george best was best mates with mandaric.

He is a businessman. Why would mm show his hand and let other clubs know everything, to jump in before us.Golden rule of business. We were in admin before mm took over, and he has invested his OWN money for debts.alot of money. Now i am not a huge mm fan and agree he is very demanding and quick to wield the axe,but i appreciate his input in the club.I have not invested the millions he has,and i doubt you have either.correct me if im wrong.
cambridgefox Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 He kicked my dog in western park last week. Is the western park the bit between the balls and the arse!

Re admin: we were in and out of admin 4 years before Mandaric bought the club so I fail to see therelvance. As for his investments we don't know what they are and what form they take but the general consensus is that it is in the form of loans which will need to be repaid with interest when he eventually sells the club. I've invested 40+ seasons in this club so believe I have the right to question the motives of whoever happens to own or is running the club. I'll be here until I die he'll be here just as long as it takes him to find someone to buy it at a price that gives him a healthy profit, so any investment he may be making is a calculated risk on his part with a view to making a profit. Now there's nothing wrong with that if he was honest about it instead of having people believe that he bought the club for £25mill and that he's Leicester City's biggest and best fan.

leicesterseddon Posted 15 July 2010 Posted 15 July 2010 I am still totally lost as to what Mandaric has done wrong. Speak to HMRC

That is exactly how I feel, minus the 40+ years part. Only about 20 for me.

Far rather him than an unknown Asian playboy with billions to splash but only a passing interest in the sport. Few points.. Firstly on the HMRC front he has been found guilty of nothing. From what I hear the HMRC have been conducting a football witch hunt for years and Mandy and Harry fit the bill. My guess is it will get thrown out of court. Secondly Mandy is a football man. He has been around English football for years and does it for the love of the game as much as the money which I think we all know is very hard to make out of football. I wish people wouldn't assume that any Asian consortium will be mega rich and better for the club than Mandy. Ask yourself why an Asian consortium would want to buy an English football club? When I ask this question I can only come up with two motives.... kudos and profit. And having people with those motives owning your club is a very very dangerous thing. I think some people need to realize that we are lucky to have Mandaric at the club and all the while he is in charge he will endeavor to move us forward in a sustainable manner. I fear with fame hungry football novices in charge it will only end up in ruin.
poopbutt Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 pretty sure mandaric want's to see a profit, he's a not a volunteer
Zingari Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 pretty sure mandaric want's to see a profit, he's a not a volunteer i think he's just trying to cut his losses
Alexikokopops Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 This will end in tears. It always does with Leicester, but we might as well enjoy the ride

Ducks for cover - Ready for a torrent of abuse from certain people Matt, you are just so BORING! It's yet again the same old post! Can't you think of something new to moan about. Even a constructive post may be possible, if you try hard enough! On second thoughts, I don't think you really can manage it.
