Jackirius Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 About which part? All of it apart from the Dyer bit.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Taylor and Ebanks-Blake are very good shouts. Proven at this level.
gibraltarfox Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Boyata at Man City would be decent, basically a mini micah richards playing right back when he'l end up as a centre back. They started him against Chelsea and they didnt concede and he's already knocking around the Belgium squad so he's obviously got ability. With Sven and Mancini being good mates I reckon he'd definitely come. Would prefer someone with more experience but now the 25 man squads are in play the chances of getting loans of 1st team squad players before January are quite slim

sdb Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Boyata could just about happen (given the craziness of this season) Bentley, no way. Massive wages, equally sized ego. I watched Charlton the other night and their left winger looked awesome. But we should be looking at prem fringe players mainly.
Messi Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Would have liked to have seen Weiss here from Man City but he's at Rangers , reckon hed have been a good addition.
Mikey Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Boyata and Ebanks-Blake would be brilliant. Taylors a good shout as well.
singinpete Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Ebanks Blake Boyata Reo coker Wayne Routledge David Wheater Any of these would be great imo
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Do I smell a game of soggy biscuit
Bugg Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Ambrose Lansbury(Loan) Ebanks-Blake Wheater Not a chance with Ambrose, just signed a new deal I think. Don't think Wheater would come here either, but I reckon the other 2 are good shouts.
Bert Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Caught wind of something last nite. Don't think many would be impressed with it to be honest. Premiership, ex england centre back.
Guest ttfn Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Caught wind of something last nite. Don't think many would be impressed with it to be honest. Premiership, ex england centre back. I think Earl Barrett's had his day.

Petchy Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Caught wind of something last nite. Don't think many would be impressed with it to be honest. Premiership, ex england centre back. Went through the prem squads and came up with a list who it could possibly be... Curtis Davies Zat Knight Wes Brown Sol Campbell Steven Taylor Jonathan Woodgate Woodgate seem's the most likely one, if any of those in my list, due to him being unregistered by Tottenham in their 25 man squad.
sdb Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 I want to guess Sol Campbell because personally that wouldn't impress me, but i get a feeling it's worse than that! Surely not Woodgate he's basically gone isn't he?

Curtis Davies Zat Knight Wes Brown Sol Campbell Steven Taylor Jonathan Woodgate Woodgate seem's the most likely one, if any of those in my list, due to him being unregistered by Tottenham in their 25 man squad. Steven Taylor hasn't played for England yet, so count him out.
sdb Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Depending on what's up with Weale, Chris Kirkland would be a quality keeper for us. Out of favour at Wigan, Leicester lad. Better than all 3 of our keepers and especially the 2 that are currently being selected.
Micky Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Bert, why didn't you just say Sol Campbell! Unsure about this. Think he could be a useful addition. Provide some much needed organisation and aerial presence. Even though he is getting on I would imagine he is still no slouch. Would expect him to be quicker than Wayne Brown.
Ric Flair Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Sol Campbell would be stunning at this level. He would be on a different planet. He reads the game so well and bar a few quality strikers, there aren't many at this level that will trouble him.
Petchy Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 Steven Taylor hasn't played for England yet, so count him out. Ah, I only really included him because he's played for the U21 and there was that whole 'transfer listed' thing with him and Newcastle a few weeks ago. -------------- As for Campbell, I really can't see it being him as he's only just began to play for 'castle after signing in the summer!
