Albums you haven't listened to for ages but then when you do listen to them you wonder why you didn't listen to them for ages

Currently listening to Arthur (the Kinks). Not sure why I haven't listened to it for ages but I've played it in the last two days now. Not that many bad tracks on it, if any.

I assume I've posted this in here before but honestly this thread is basically the Maximo Park thread, it's the perfect answer.

Our Velocity is one of my all time most played songs I reckon.

Also loved Acrobat from the album previous, slightly different change in tempo there.

I thought I owned this, but couldn't find it in my CD collection a couple of weeks ago. Then I saw it in a charity shop and snapped it up.

I'm thinking that my brother had it when we both used to live at our parents and had a shared music collection. In which case I haven't listened to this in it's entirety in over 25 years! Still a cracker though.

It's Debut by Bjork for the uninitiated.

Yeah, I've got it. Think it was me that bought it too

On the subject i can really recommend this site for getting to listen to some stuff you havent heard in a while.

It simply gives you an album to listen to each day, all more or less classics.

For today im revisiting this one, Suicides debut from 1977. Such a great album.

Love this album and although I have all of her albums,  I find this her most accessible.
