Jonezy Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Whats up with Naughton sounding like Andy King? Thought Stringer interviewed King for a second there.
AmyLGK Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Was it some ridiculous drooling over Beckham? HA nooooooooooooo! I save that just for you guys on here - it was about our strikers not scoring and what needs to be done.
Finnegan Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 HA nooooooooooooo! I save that just for you guys on here - it was about our strikers not scoring and what needs to be done. Oh go on then. Enlighten me.
KFS Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 I stood and sung for a whole city game... Thank you sk4, was a pleasure. The game was more good than bad. The defence is so much better but we need some above average strikers, that will come im sure.
AmyLGK Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Oh go on then. Enlighten me. Oh - i've just done a "you"and not made myself clear - I meant, I was asking what needs to be done. Stick with those we have a give them time, maybe Sven will implement new training methods that'll bring out their full potential - or is it time to buy some more!?!?
Finnegan Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Finners is ALWAYS clear. By the by - am I a deaf cunt or were the FBs singing Cardiff's Na Na, Hey Hey song today? I didn't think they knicked other club's chants, eh, Bilo?
FoxyPV Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Fryatt and Dyer would have made a big difference today and as Finners has already said you can't play a 4 4 2 without an wingers. Disappointed as I thought we would have buried them in the first half and go on to win easy but a silly mistake costs us three points again.. A wee bit of confidence throughout the team makes a world of a difference though! Davis was very good although was caught out of position once or twice but a class above what we have at the moment. Gallagher made many poor choices in regards to passing and Bruno's decision to shoot was silly since he had Gallagher inside ready to push on. At the end of the day a point's a point.
Bob Farley Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 The two loan guys were amazing, if we could sign them it would be amazing.
ScouseFox Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Decent performance, looked short on options though. And nobody seemed sure whether to push for more goals or slow play down and hold onto one throughout the first half. Gallagher was woeful. If he's going to insist on shooting with literally every touch, putting something on target would be useful.
Finnegan Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 In Gallagher's defence (and I do so begrudgingly, 'cos he was bollocks today) at somebody WAS fucking shooting.
Webbo Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Obviously disappointed with the result but I enjoyed the game. Both teams going for the win, a few juicy tackles, both keepers made saves. The 2 loan players were great.
Finnegan Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Both teams going for the win There were two teams out?
Goddard Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Loan signings looked reassuringly good. I think it would be difficult to get them both fully signed up but time will tell. I just think at the minute we are missing a player that can play a killer ball. We rely on Wellens and lets be honest, he is not the best passer of the ball. We need a Howard-esque player that is more of a threat on the ground and a decent attacking midfielder imo.
Salieri Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 We need proper width from proper wingers. Sounds like Dyer was missed today, it's sad that we only have one decent winger. A right winger has got to be priority.
ScouseFox Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Oh and Davies was superb today, and Naughton is an improvement on Lamey/Neilson. He'd be even better going forward is someone gave him the ball more often.
lcfcsnow Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Please replace Howard this week Sven, dreadful.
Matt Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Please replace Howard this week Sven, dreadful. Really, thought Waghorn was more to blame if you wanted to point the finger at one of our strikers, Waghorn had an awful game today IMO.
Glenfield Fox Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Great first half. Should have been 2 or 3 up. Knew Pearson would shake them up in the interval, just suprised we weren't ready for them. Curtis looks real class would like to keep him longer. Thought Weale could have done better for the goal but he then made a couple of excellent saves. Ref was a stinker. Top of the shopping list must still be a quality striker. Stating the obvious I know but today really emphasised this.
CosbehFox Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 In Gallagher's defence (and I do so begrudgingly, 'cos he was bollocks today) at somebody WAS fucking shooting. With his efforts, you might aswell give the ball away. Woeful shooting.
lcfcsnow Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Really, thought Waghorn was more to blame if you wanted to point the finger at one of our strikers, Waghorn had an awful game today IMO. They both had poor games but the Howard issue needs sorting, he's simply not upto it. Naughton and Davies looked a class apart though, great to see a Leicester team with defenders like those at the back.
EnglishOxide Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 As I said in the match thread, we would have been battered by Hull under Sousa. In a couple of short weeks Sven has managed to get us to the point where we can take them on at an equal level. Give it more time and we'll be well on track.... I hope. Bollocks. At 1-1 we resorted to hoofing it and giving it straight back to them. Under Sousa we would have passed our way out and got in behind them. Hull were poor.
Matt Posted 16 October 2010 Posted 16 October 2010 Bollocks. At 1-1 we resorted to hoofing it and giving it straight back to them. Under Sousa we would have passed our way out and got in behind them, then have umpteen shots on goal none going in, leaving gaps at the back where the defence have gone awol and concede thus losing the game, Hull were poor.

Under Sousa we would have passed our way out and got in behind them. Hull were poor. Under Sousa, we'd have pissed about with the ball. Wouldn't have had a decent right back or Davies, Hull would have more scoring chances for starters.
