ajthefox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 i'd be pretty keane to have him would be a total shock if it happens class player who definately knows where the goal is give the rest of our team some credit, I think they can locate the goal!
Brenfox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Not going to happen but I'm sure someone would have something negative to say about it.
phillthefox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 wont be happening as keane played for spurs last night in milan, dont think he gonna swap that for sunny leicester ???? but who knows make it happen sven
paddy Agyemang Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 don't forget Waghorn, fryatt and howard they are a big part of the team, although waggy and keane up front with vassell behind would be sensational
muzzieizzet Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 I'm guessing the real rummour is someone called Robbie is keen on joining us. robbie bloody fowler
Leicester_Mad Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 wont be happening as keane played for spurs last night in milan, dont think he gonna swap that for sunny leicester ???? but who knows make it happen sven You do realise that Spurs don't play there games in Milan don't you? or is there a massive climate change around the watford gap that i dont know about
The Doctor Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 You do realise that Spurs don't play there games in Milan don't you? or is there a massive climate change around the watford gap that i dont know about you do realise spurs were playing in the champions league, away to inter milan last night don't you?
Adster Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 you do realise spurs were playing in the champions league, away to inter milan last night don't you? I dont think he did notice
jonthefox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Is deffo true. I am a journalist here in Ireland and the word round the Irish camp last weekw as Keane could be heading this way on loan. However like a lot of others it is now his choice, because he has the option of staying put and getting wages for no effort at all. Fine journalism there.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 you do realise spurs were playing in the champions league, away to inter milan last night don't you? The guy was quite clearly (and correctly) pointing out that Keane wouldn't be giving up an exotic life playing football in Milan in exchange for 'sunny Leicester' if he came here because the night in Milan was a one off, unlikely to be repeated for quite some time. He plays the majority of his football in England anyway; that was the point he was making.
MC Prussian Posted 2 December 2010 Posted 2 December 2010 It's about time people would start topics about which players we won't sign. January's transfer window still more than a month away, but some are already panicking to move their rumours in.

rico Posted 2 December 2010 Posted 2 December 2010 http://www.thisislei...il/article.html Although it would have been a loan, City would have had to pay a large percentage of Keane's reported £75,000 a week wages. just shows what clout we've now got !
purpleronnie Posted 2 December 2010 Posted 2 December 2010 You'd think the deluded people might have woken up after the beckham nonsense. Seems not.

Jakemoore Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 i'd be pretty keane to have him would be a total shock if it happens class player who definately knows where the goal is poor joke....

MPH Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Or how detached from reality we're becoming? I echo these sentiments. We MUST get to the premier league this season because we can't afford to splash the cash like this for another year. Its a heck of a gamble

Thracian Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Does that mean Eriksson is deluded too? Define you boundaries and that's what they'll become. Eriksson clearly has the nerve and self-belief to try for anyone he thinks will enhance our side and perhaps lift the club's profile in doing so. That's so refreshing and something I've been looking forward to for years. I've already Erisson's got class and, with any luck, that same quality will seep into our team sooner rather than later. I'm actually excited by what he's trying to do and wonder when was the last time any City fan could justifiably feel like that?

Agreed, even a post suggesting Robbie Keane is a transfer target is readable, because you just don't know these days. This is so much better than looking to sign Trevor Benjamin (sorry Trev), Junior Lewis, Andy Impy and some of the other dross we've had the mis fortune to be not only linked with but actually sign.
