We usually have a capon (that's a big cockerel) but my uncle the butcher has retired this year so I don't know what we'll have this year, turkey is crap.

PS. Sprouts are godly.

Turkey is possibly my least favourite meat. I mean, it tastes of nothing. It's been used at Chrimbo just as a conveniently cheap way of feeding a large gathering of family as traditionally happens.

As an alternative I can recommend ostrich. The drumsticks are AMAZING!

Having tried ostrich twice, I can confirm that it's rubbish.

Tofu schnitzel's the way forward.

For vegetarians.

I pity vegetarians. Missing out on all the good stuff in life.

Like the piece of deer that will end up on my plate tonight. Get in.

Cant beat a bit of venison,my mates dad saw a lady in distress who had hit a muntjac deer ,and it was badly injured.killed it and ate it(not all at once)my mate said it was lovely, but rather strong, but that could have been the stress of the animal before it died.Told this can change the taste of meats.Dunno if this is true though.
