Jimbo Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 I've said his name before and I'll say him again, and seeing as this thread is basically fanatasy there's no harm, but I'd go for Alejandro Alfaro at Seville. I've seen him play a few times for Tenerife while he was on loan there and I think the lad is quality. He's young (23/24 I think) got bags of skill, can pass, cross and score goals. He played in a system similar to ours when at Tenerife and was very affective. Don't know if there are any youtube vids of the guy but you'd just have to trust my judgement and years of experience unearthing gems on football manager! Only problem is that I think he's playing reasonably regularly for Seville now and even if we could get him away from la liga would probably cost a fair few million, so we've probably missed the boat with him. But if I had Svens number I'd tell him to take a look

Jamie O'Hara wouldn't be sold as Tottenham have been playing him a fair bit recently. Matt Derbyshire is ok but hasn't got a very prolific goalscoring record and is a bit over hyped. Mark Davies doubt he would be sold as Bolton rate him quite highly. And i doubt he would want to drop down after becoming a bit of a regular in Boltons squad recently. Fabian Delph Freddie Sears is also playing regularly for Hammers and is a player who is progressing quickly so wouldn't want to come out of the top flight if West Ham did sell him.

The Doctor Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 To be fair, he is banging them in in real life aswell. too right, 21 in 39 last season, this season he's joint top scorer in scots div 1. 12 goals (8 in the league) already this season from the 21 games dundee have played (not sure how many games he's played this season though). Regardless of the quality of the division that's not a record to be sniffed at.

Freddie Sears has been on loan to S****horpe so hasn't been playing regularly for West Ham & Jamie O'Hara has not made one appearance for Tottenham this year!! Matt Derbyshire's goal/game ratio is over 1 in 3 for Olympiacos & over 1 in 2 for Wrexham before that. Plus, he's 24 years old.
