sdb Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 craig burley - **** plus points - we could've lost 5/6 - hobbs wasn't sent off - sven will realise Waggy is better than Howard and should stay - sven will realise never play matt oakley, lazy ****
Ajax Treesdown Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Well done boys. Hows Wellens, Gallagher? Any info?
Guest shearfox Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Well we had a go, played some nice stuff and gave them a scare, not bad away to a side chasing the premier league title.
nothin2seehere Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 So looking forward to our home game against Milwall now. And I loved seeing the lads go over to our fans after the whistle. Great performance.
MikeyT Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 I shall merely copy and paste what i just wrote in the Match thread. Once again am very proud of the lads again tonight. Facing the richest club in the world and joint top of the Premier League. And we got 4 goals against them in 2 games. Well done boys.
KFS Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Good effort boys. Feel a bit down, but hey, it's only the cup. Howard and Oakley
Joeb.lcfc Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 we fought well and can take a lot out of this just hope wellens & gally are good for millwall
wellyfox Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Going to work in Bedford tomoz PROUD again :scarf:
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Very proud of the lads. They kept the old adage that foxes never quit. Right, play offs anyone?
Webbo Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Ah well. We never expected to win, did we? Dyer and Naughton did well as did Gallagher and Wellens until they came off.Moussa, Waghorn and King were anonymous and Hobbs had a nightmare.
Ricey Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Great effort tonight, can't fault the commitment shown and we look excellent going forward. If Sven has any sense he'll never ever play Howard on his own again, I wonder how we would have faired with Waggy instead. Bamba and Dyer were superb. <cliche> We can concentrate on the league now. </cliche>
Jonezy Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Superb effort! Abe was great in his more advanced role second half. Shame Man City took this seriously and showed their class. Now lets go on a great run in the league.
wellyfox Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 And for all there money over 2 legs we was not the worst team :scarf: :scarf:
oldfox Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 well done to the lads - makes you feel proud to be a fox
ScouseFox Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Incredibly proud of that, ran the second best team in the country to the last minute of a replay and matched them all the way, and had chances to win it in the first leg. As for tonight, without Vassell we didn't look even slightly as threatening, but still took until added time until they looked properly comfortable. Weale, despite conceding 4, was superb, 3 or 4 top, top saves, and a Tevez penalty save. All in all, proud, and great to see us getting credit off Liverpool/Everton fans on my facebook
Kitchandro Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Hearty performance, but as good as Man City, some of the defending was just poor. Offside trap was useless. We will never go on a run of winning with defending like that, wjich explains why we haven't done already. But we were far from embarrassed, and considering Wellens and Gallagher went off injured, the scoreline was very respectable. The 2 injuries are a concern though. Keep Waggy, he looked at least a bit lively when he came on. With gallagher injured as well I think we will have to give him a chance on the wing. First half Dyer beat his man and was looking for a pull back Howard was no where to be seen, I'm sure Waghorn would have at least tried to get in front of his man. All hands to the pump for the play-offs now.
Kitchandro Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Agree that Weale was brilliant. He and Bamba were MOTM.
ScouseFox Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Fvck right off Adam Johnson, "should and could easily have been 4-0 really". Should it? Well it wasn't, twat.
easilee Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Well done City. Well Proud! If we had our full strength team, we'd have torn 'em a new one. Still, got the playoffs to look forward to.
FoxyPV Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 WTF? Oakley?! Went upstairs due to daddy duties at 1-0 came back down 1-1, back upstairs again, down at 3-1 and then just saw the final score. All I can say is that I'm proud (as always) to be a foxes fan. It would've been amazing to beat them but with Tecez nevermind anyone else we were facing an uphill challenge. Looking forward to beating Millwall at the weekend
Captain... Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 Only caught the second half, but glad we gave it a good go and didn't collapse, chase the ball like headless chickens when losing and play hoof it to Howard. We stuck to our game and played some really nice stuff, we were committed if a little lucky at times defending but when you hear the prices of the players being banded around it's just ridiculous, 26 million Silva coming off for 14 million Jo, I am proud of our heroic exit. I hope the injuries aren't serious and we can replicate that performance week in week out. The fans sounded awesome on the stream I was watching, good work.
WardyisPukka Posted 18 January 2011 Posted 18 January 2011 ha there having a laff if they think theyll win the league let alone a champions league place !! dyer shat on them!! just imagine if we had the yak we wud of caused them more problems!! proud citeh fan!! well done lads!! lets hope we're not tierd for millwall massive game and need the three points
